  1. Every time someone shares their live experience I feel so happy and melty So happy that you managed to witness the birth of baby 4Lz! By the way, did I miss something? When did Brian confirm that the golden swan was on his desk?? Thats awesome news!
  2. I think the ChSq for SEIMEI 2.0 we saw in media day videos was amazing! I looooved the part right after the spin where he does this 'throwing something down' movement with his right hand, it was so... aofijofsliap'fo I don't know how to describe it, but it was so dominating and powerful! The choreography after the hydroblade up till he does that 'shooting' movement with his right hand... If he manages to bring that kind of perfection into competitions, we'll be seeing those 10's in PCS! Oh yay!! Swans have made their way into Japan! Off topic, but does anyone know if there is any record of past world standings? I know Yuzu has been at no. 1 in WS for 4 years now, but is it recorded somewhere? I'm interested to see the stats too
  3. Yuzu is such a great skater that it'd be a shame if something doesn't get named after him. I also think his signature jump entries/exits are . What about back counter? Hanyu counter?
  4. Was wondering why the page count suddenly went up in a few hours when it's been really slow the past few days About the naming of a skating move after Yuzu, I've been thinking about that before, too. How did all the other skating moves get their names? How nice it must be to have a move named after you. Maybe we should just start calling one of Yuzu's iconic 'Yuzu' moves after him, then it'll stick I personally think the side lunge pistol pose is a totally 'Yuzu' move. Maybe I'll call it the Hanyu lunge next time Doesn't matter whether he created it or not; after all, I think the layback Ina Bauer is widely called after Arakawa in Japan after Shizuka Arakawa popularized it. I really like the sound of Hanyublade too.
  5. I like Seimei 2.0 costume's shoulders. The opening there to reveal the purple underneath is very nicely done! I believe this was what they wanted to achieve as the end result, but it just didn't happen with Seimei 1.0. I think the way it's cut and sewn is even better than FaOI version. I love the gold belt and gold under the sleeve cuffs too. Gold is Yuzu's colour.
  6. @Hydroblade I'd be happy to take some of your swans to NHK! Thanks a lot! I'll put some on my work desk to admire every day and bring some over to NHK to spread around Yuzu will definitely feel all the positivity from all over the world I'm so excited for new Chopin costume too!
  7. Thank you! I'm preparing my heart for never recovering from seeing the Overlord live But I know there'll be no regrets, I will only regret if I had never gone to see him at least once. Wow that's nice to hear! Those swans must bring luck to everyone, I'm sure! Yuzu's name does wonders in the FS community, doesn't it? @Hydroblade @yuzuangel Would it be alright for me to have some of those swans as well? They're so beautiful! I'd like to spread them all over at NHK too, if you don't mind
  8. Haha tbh, I really have no idea. It was purely by luck, and I couldn't believe it myself when I managed to lock the ticket when checking out. Well, not that I managed to get tickets for the other days. But I'm still amazed at how lucky I was. I probably used up Pooh knows how many years of luck on that ticket. I remember thinking that everyone who had a chance to go to ACI were so lucky, and never would I have ever thought that I would get this chance myself, and so soon. Being able to watch Yuzu live will definitely be the best experience ever, and I will cherish this valuable opportunity with every ounce of my being. I consider you to be one of the lucky ones too, being able to lay eyes on the Overlord himself is already a very lucky thing. Aww, I hope we manage to get satellites to every competition! How did ACI-goers give out swans? I wonder if "forgetting" them somewhere would work - would people even pick them up?
  9. I'm going to NHK (FS only - SEIMEI! ), so I think it'd be nice to participate in this But in general I'm quite introverted (judging by the number of times I've posted here), so it might a bit challenging for me, seeing as I'm also going alone and luggage space might be a bit of a problem. Still, I'd like to lend a hand in getting our planet's swans to invade Japan It'd be really cool if we can bring them to all of Yuzu's competitions this season, too. Which other competitions don't yet have any of our fellow satellites attending?
  10. The FS announcement came early in the morning for me and here I am at work wondering how I'll get through the rest of the day. I'm just so excited! To all who are disappointed with Yuzu choosing SEIMEI, I read somewhere (no time to find link) that Yuzu had been wanting to use SEIMEI since his high scores in the 2015-2016 season. Also, remember the time when he said he could skate SEIMEI cleanly under any circumstance now? Not sure what he meant, whether it was the programme or the layout, but this is so important going into the Olympic season with a programme he's already mastered. Well of course new layout and choreography should be taken into account as well, but at least he's already comfortable with it.
  11. Came back to find over 50 pages of posts and... There is news! Just knew it gotta be SEIMEI
  12. I'll definitely make it a point to go watch him I knew you would love it, as your name suggests This is one of my favourite Yuzu hydroblades because beautiful hand movements I wonder how I'm going to survive the next few days... I already feel like the thread is moving so quickly. Hopefully I won't wake up to an explosion of posts on the planet after Mt. Irene's imminent eruption...
  13. Thank you! I'll take your advice on that! I'm so happy for you for being able to go see Yuzu live (and now Javi, too)! At the same time, I'm so jealous... I hope I'll get to go see him one day too!
  14. Oh I see... Thank you for your reply!
  15. Hi! It's my first time posting here, despite being on the planet for some time already. Some of you might have noticed me liking posts but never actually posting anything Finally decided to give a proper introduction just in time for the FS announcement tomorrow (if that happens). The planet is obviously getting really excited now (with the additional news that Javi will be participating in ACI...). I've been a Yuzu fan for about 9 months now, sometime after 2016 Skate Canada and 2016 NHK Trophy, so while I do know a lot of the basic Yuzu and skating stuff, I still don't really know a lot of the deeper stuff. What attracted me the most about Yuzu was his graceful movements as he moves along the ice. But since then, I've found many more reasons to love him I've actually been wondering about some things for a while... perhaps I may get some answers here? I sometimes see Yuzu having something under his UA shirt... like the one in this picture... what is it? That rectangular looking object... Well... guess I should let the thread continue with its excitement...
