  1. What will he skate, in your opinion? New programs probably won't be ready by the end of May to skate one of them, I think...

    Notte Stellata and smth else?

Yuzu has the opportunity to take the stress out of LGC. Maybe he will do? Although the show doesn't have to jump so much and can enjoy what he will skate.

well never mind the show, "Yuzu" and "doesn't have to jump so much" are not good friends it seems, remember Faoi Seimei , 3 quads attempt /3A ...even in a show he's a stubborn lol :rofl2:

But Seimei was a new program back then and Yuzu was readying it for the season, and LGC is no more a competitive program, so... We'll see, anyway)

Yes, I thought about it. Maybe he'll really bring LGC (simplified for the show)?

  3. Ok, I'm starting to miss the Church... ugh, I'm better at lurking than posting but I guess I'm gonna have to work on it if I'm ever getting back :-)

    Bro! I miss it, too.

I haven't been to forums for ages, and now it seems kinda difficult to catch up with everything and comment (I much more like reading lol).

But we'll manage to get back! I know that :pbow:

Lol it's mostly thanks to Denis Ten...he worked so hard in bombing his FS that I think the Israeli fed should send him a fruit basket.

Lol the boy works in politics you see. Always a generous humanitarian sacrificing himself for others' benefits

    :acceptable:

    :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Speaking serious, I think Denis Ten will actually go into politics. He'll fit in)

  5. My concern about Yuzu doing shows is that he will forget himself and do something reckless. At least at TCC he's surrounded by coaches who I believe have been instructed to yell at him if he gets carried away with the jumping.

I don't think he would forget himself to such extent. He's well aware that there are Olympics ahead and he need to stay healthy.

  6. I am very glad we'll be seeing him at the Olympics because that entire thing during the Europeans broke my heart; nothing worse than to be in that type of situations so I was really happy when Bychenko managed to grab two spots for Israel by placing 10th in Helsinki so that they don't have to fight it out!

Same here) I was rooting for Bychenko to get to the top 10, 'cause it would be heartbreakening to see Alexei and Daniel to fight against each other for OG. Alexei did great (and he's 29 omg!) =)

Chiddy and Yuzu are cute.

Oh yeah, is that PChiddy's hand on Yuzu's shoulder? My heart.

Edit: Honestly, the more I look at that photo, the more does that hand seem like a unattached limb. It doesn't seem to match either Patrick or Eric's arms! :rofl2:

After staring so long at this, I think I can conclude it's actually Eric's :P

Chiddy's hand is being hidden behind yuzu, probably plotting sth :rofl2: I mean, look at that suspicious grin! :rofl2:

No, it's PChiddy's hand, I can clearly see his arm) I has a bright screen on my laptop, so I'm sure.

  8. I just was hit with a thought what are the probabilities of Yuzu taking Danse Macabre for one of the programs. It wasn't used too heavily by skater lately, I think? It's classical and strong... and, well, Yuzu could have his killing stare :hachimaki:

  9. Oh gosh, it's impossible to choose... but I managed somehow xd

    In no particular order:

    - Let's go crazy (I'm still in awe how this is even possible - it's incredible! And he rocked at Worlds!)

    - Notte Stellata (I'm simply mesmerized by it)

    - Hello, I love you (e.g. the last option in a poll)) - I have a soft spot for this skate) And costume...

But I truly love all programs leading in a poll. And ones not leading, too)

  10. His score might have been higher for sure but I was thinking about the mental effect Yuzu's skate had on the rest. They all crumbled because Yuzu was just that good. Yuzu might thrive under such conditions but most other skaters don't.

    Yes, that's true.

  11. One what if that is worth considering is- what if Yuzu hadn't skated first?

He'd definitely got higher score if he skated later in his group, that's for sure. (I'm talking about FS here.)

Just today I've thought that he'd better to skate 4-6th in his group at OG. It's pure luck, so can he has all needed amount of it at OG?..

  12. Unfortunately, /somehow/ ppl just have a whole new set of standards whenever it's Yuzu, which sometimes works unfairly against him because he is up against a much harsher measuring stick. Yes, they do give him the points when he's at the top of the game, but he has to be /very good/ to get that treatment and not many skaters can maintain tip top condition 24/7, 365 days. And when he is, not down, but just not at the very best, he is penalised, which is fair, but the issue is that other skaters are not treated to the same degree.

My thoughts are exactly the same. It seems sometimes (ahem, always, lately) that there is just one scale to judge his skating and another for the others'.

I'm glad Yuzu can handle such... approach (and win despite everything! what an amazing human being *__*), but I get more nervous every time because you never know what judges decide to see or not to see in Yuzu's and the others' programs.

  13. I checked season 2015/16 as it's during that season I got really involved into watching figure skating (and yes, because of Yuzu). But I saw his Sochi SP for sure and PotO (I'm a fan of the musical), though they didn't make me stay up to date with skating (I had major fandom interests at that time). And in my country figure skating isn't transmitted by TV (like, at all; I live in Europe if anyone wonders), so if you want to watch fs you first have to find where and how to watch it)

I don't know what changed during 2015/16 season, but I finally got into watching figure skating - and here I am)

Figure skating per se I like since my childhood as my mother was watching it (there were TV-transmissions then).

  14. Hello everyone!

I was occasionally reading Fan Fest on GS, without registration. But how can I ignore Planet Hanyu?

May this forum live long and peacefully)
