So far we haven't seen the actual murderface. Perhaps we'll see it on competition day. And compared to the rest of the guys, he doesn't look pressured, maybe he hides it well but seeing the 3 practices, we can really tell how grateful he is just to be there 

Exactly. I think he re-found the joy of skating. I don't think he wants to murderface anyone this time. (I was never a fan of his murderface. I always thought it was his stress and I love the smiley zuzu.) Now hele is too happy to be there. I just want him to reclaim his Olympic records back. And win. 

And every one of his smiles are worse than the murderface for his opponents. If I saw him so happy, my knees would be shaking with every jump attempt.

I think Yuzu underwent something profound in this forced break from FS. Something that made him appreciate skating and the joy of it and not the stress of competition. And that's why I think anyone with any kind of crazy BV won't affect him so much. As much as I love Nathan and his crazy jump and his voice (it's so inappropriate, but i do) I don't this he would understand what skating means to Yuzu and Yuzu means to skating. Until then, this rush would go on.
