  1. I like your post but I donˋt take being sorrounded by stupid people as an excuse at his age. The remark was disparaging I think, and not sportsmanlike, not nice. And he is long old enough to know. Sorry, had to get it off— now going to sleep and will hopefully forget about Nathan and my next thought will be happier
  2. If he has said that it is too stupid for words. He has clearly no idea how athletic these ice dancers have to be...
  3. there is a thread with videos:-)
  4. I did not know they were lit up; this is so great!!!
  5. Wow! Thank you!!
  6. Well thank you, one of the muscle-men explained!
  7. Yes, but I am greedy: who are these muscle-men, and what are they saying?
  8. Yes, for me, too, context would be nice:-)
  9. He is like me...I love to sleep and have so little
  10. As always, I hope for translation later - it seemed to be good! And if I understood correctly, there will be Shoma next! Alone?
  11. https://mov3.co/tbs/
  12. now is Yuzuru on TBS.
  13. I don´t know, actually, but it was a lady commentator Edit: everybody should call it that, because it is
  14. ..I just watched Chopin at NBCSN - and the commentator called it " liquid gold". Yes. True. Still have no words. .
  15. Just rewatched Semei - again, and it struck me how much stamina he had in this competition! I know about the ankle, yes, but usually, there was always stamina to worry about. Not this time. I so impressed, I can´t say..
  16. I just wanted to pop in and say that I have been rewatching Semei and Chopin now for so many times... Tomorrow I will start to try functioning properly again. Seimei to me is pure power, and he seems to curse and banish the judges even more this time. And his Chopin is softer somehow..pure beauty.
  17. Oh, ok, so well...off trying to sleep, and then...Semei. ( Starting to panick, feeling happy, calming myself..ok, sleep. Wow. If possible. See you all! )
  18. Re: Boston. I, too, think, that this is different from Boston. Mindset, etc., what the others said above. And, what struck me in one of the interviews: he said he wanted revenge on his Sochi free, I understood this as: he wants to skate the Olympic free clean this time. And this, to me, is a big difference, as if he will skate not to win as the foremost goal, no stress there, but he wants to skate clean. ( Which will result in him winnig:-)) . This is a big difference, a different approach, I think, and I so much hope he will win this gold!!! Yes, yes, I have difficulties in finding the right words, but even as I know I will be shaking with fear tonight, it will be nothing like the tension and horror even of the Boston practices. Thank God!
  19. ...after I read your post, I remembered I woke up at one o clock at night the last two nights and had to get up...and now I wonder, if it MIGHT have something to do with the Olympics? ( I usually sleep like a log!]
  20. I could only now watch the whole press conference quietly, and I now understand why reading it was hard. I just think he is a very, very special human being. He knows it all, he knows us and what we were waiting for, he mentions the media, and he somehow is able to understand it all and go his way nonetheless. I was very happy to see him so carefree at practice! I cannot help but to compare it to the unbearable tension at Boston. Somehow he got more distance, more equilibrium, more health, and I think he is far away from being unhappy— but he is more thoughtful. Good for him! I admire him as well!! ( They should give him the gold medal, right now, as far as I am concerned. He deserves it! And I am still changing my mind between sleeping through the free and just look for the results later as I am not as capable of handling the situation as he is, and staying up and watch live stream. Yes, I will watch!
  21. Better be safe than sorry. I do not know what I expected, how his arrival would be...but somehow it seemed perfectly normal to me, bodyguards and all... Great as it should be Probably my frame of reference is a little bit distorted when it comes to Yuzuru Hanyu and these Olympics. But I am somehow relieved about security being there. Olympic fever. One never knows..
  22. ...want to congratulate you on your avatar: this is one breathtaking picture!
  23. Love it all. What a great entrance!
