They are openly making fun of dedicated fans that have probably spent so much time, money and effort just to see Yuzuru skate. You know maybe it's this kind of mindset (that fans can't be passionate about figure skating) that makes the sport less popular. Shame on you CBC Olympics.

Woooow whoever runs that twitter account is a twat.

You know I've always wondered, ever since I saw Yuzu's PW performance at the team event then in the singles, how he would've done without the team event. Sochi was what really gave him a boost in his career so without it, things could've turned out really different for him *shiver*. Just imagine...He could've caved under pressure without it. (Or done better but I can't imagine what would've been better than breaking the 100 point barrier and making a new world record). And I...I probably would've never became his fan. Wow, truly a nightmare! I change my mind I care a lot more about the team event now, you never know what will happen there (still don't care who wins though since Japan has no chance).

To be honest, neither do I. The only reason I'll watch is because it may be an insight as to how the top competitiors, especially Yuzu, will do later on (But even so the results may differ like with Plushy and Yulia (glad to hear she's doing better) back in Sochi). So yeah I don't really care who wins the team event. Just give it to Canada, Patrick deserves at least one more gold medal before he retires (I'm joking judges please be fair with the judging)

Once again, zero mention of Patrick. I feel bad for him. I mean I've only seen like three of Patrick's programs but still agree that his skating skills are superb and he should not be as unappreciated as he is today (Seriously he mentioned Shoma, but not Patrick?). And this is coming from a 100% Yuzu fan (y'know cause apparently Yuzu fans and Patrick fans are mortal enemies and rarely agree on anything).

I still respect the guy and his opinions (he is still a living legend after all) but definitely cannot agree with him if he's saying what I think he's saying.

"When questioned about Hanyu’s total package as a skater, Button looked at the broader picture and his belief that the technical elements have overtaken creativity and robbed the sport of its essence in the process." “The rules do not favor creative skating. One of the few skaters that achieves that is Javier Fernandez." “But again, it will come down to the number of bloody quadruple jumps.” What did Button think of Hanyu’s epic free skate at the worlds in Helsinki last April? “I think it was marvelous for the rules that exist now,” Button said. “I don’t like the rules that exist now. In my book, what is the matter with having something that is technically difficult and also creative? "The odd one out is the Spaniard Javier Fernandez, who is one of the few to be both quad-oriented, original and artistic." Sooo I'm guessing he's no longer a fan of Yuzu (only Javi)? He seemed to really like PW back at Sochi but the things he says here are ehhhh...

Lol, I'm probably one of the few people that started taking an interest in him because of a short clip on Youtube rather than one of his performances on tv or YOI (although H&L and Seimei are what officially hooked me in the end). He was just so amusing here, I had to look him up.

Sooo I just saw something interesting on twitter and wanted to ask those of you who actually went to ACI if it's true. Did people from IOC or ISU really come watch the competition? People in suits were allegedly spotted watching Yuzu's performance from the VIP section, but the only non fan atendees I heard about on here were the unimpressed hockey players and there doesn't seem to be any pictures of them (Also why is there a VIP section at ACI?). ACI is just a challenger series, if it's true, is that normal?

Everyone seems to be getting the notion that his bad LP score reduces the greatness of his World Record Breaking SP score but that's not true, right? I guess it's only natural the negative overshadows the positive when haters are using it as ammo against him but in the end, he's still great mate 8/8 (also the most well-rounded and skilled skater but that's just my opinion)!

Yea.

I just gotta say thanks to everyone who's made and maintained this site. Despite it sometimes seeming a bit too much like a Yuzu cult site, most times it's just been a very comforting place for me (a worry wart). Hell, usually when something bad happens to one of my favorites I'm sad and worried about it for days and yet thanks to all of the positive videos, pictures, interviews and personal thoughts people have collected and posted here I'm totally over the FS now. I mean, he got a new WR for the short so ACI wasn't the worst and it's also not really that important compared to GPF (and the OLYMPICS). So yeah, thanks <3

OMG thank you all for debunking my worries! Now I can go about my days worry free...Oh, who am I kidding it's the goddam Olympic season, of course, I'm gonna worry. Why couldn't I become a fan AFTER the Olympics?! (kudos to all of you who survived Sochi)

Hey, so sorry to get off topic but I just couldn't ignore this. This is my first time posting here and I was more than happy just reading rather than posting on this site but when I was in the middle of looking up "Yuzuru speaking Korean" on google I came across something that worried me http://archive.is/tx0DQ [edited by yuzuangel: don't link to haters, i've replaced it with a webpage screenshot.]. I suggest not going to it, but I'll leave the link just in case any of you are super curious. Tl;dr the post has a bunch of gifs of Yuzu out of context with captions that say he harasses and mocks others and is bossy (specifically with Shoma). Is this one of the reasons he did less than perfect at 4cc? Does he have a bad rep in Korea? If so, what does that mean for the Olympics? I'm Japanese so I'm well aware of the bad blood between us and Koreans due to history but I thought that was a problem outside of figure skating. I just found out about him, I wanted to enjoy him a little more before being forced into a pit of anxiety (Also I know everything on the post is BS but it still worries me how some people seem to believe it's all true). Note: The original post was apparently made by a Japanese net page, not a Korean one which is even more worrying?? Why do people hate??
