  1. I don't know if this was shared, but Yulia's commentary A+. I like Telesport so much more than Russian Eurosports, they talk too much!
  2. Japan always has beautiful competitions. But K&C last year was prettier....
  3. Well, without Yuzu, Japan will most likely not get 3 spots for the next worlds which is something the JSF SHOULD care about
  4. Oh, is it bad that I forgot about Worlds TOO FOCUSED ON THE OLYMPICS!
  5. Just realized if you dont count SCA, Yuzu is skating in only Asia (sorta since Russia is Eurasia)
  6. Is it just me, or does it feel like the quadsters are going to peak too early for PC... Like looking at where Nathan and Shoma are at, it feels like Nathan will peak at Nationals and Shoma at GPF? I don't know, it worries me when people start the season too strong in the first half. That's why I'm not all that concerned about Yuzu atm, because when he peaks he is unbeatable. Depending on how he does at NHK and GPF, as long as he gradually gets better, he will be fine. To be honest, I don't expect him to peak for awhile especially with the lutz in his arsenal. Boyang tho, he seems to know when its the right time to peak...
  7. Oh man, assuming that Yuzu doesn't lose his streak at GPF2017 (knock on wood, pls no!) should we be worried about him competing in Canada...Yuzu doesn't win in Canada
  8. I think "yuzu" is actually this band:
  9. I know some of you guys don't like TSL, but they actually have some positive things to say this time. They surprisingly are also supporters of the repeat programs...
  10. Also a nice youtube link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVfEjaHQENk
  11. Honestly, I could care less about the JSF and who they promote. Japanese fans are pretty knowledgeable anyways about skating, so whatever media says, the public generally know he is the best (cmon look at how publicized his Olympic win was, everyone knows him). Let Shoma get some media hype, takes the pressure off of Yuzu. Also fires Yuzu up too. In regards to the USFS propaganda and stuff, America never really got much FS base anyways. If they wanna promote Nathan by putting down Yuzu, let them. Fans that come into the notion that Nathan is the best from the Olympics, will soon learn that Yuzu is the real top dog anyways (To be fair, when I first saw Yuzu at Sochi, I thought he was the best in the world, which I will admit at the time, Patrick definitely was. But of course Yuzu earned his place anyways). As for federation power, I doubt any could touch Yuzu if he did well at PC. Anything close to the Sochi scandal with the ladies, will be 10x worse with the amount of international claim Yuzu has (which would be even worse considering he might continue, bringing more heat on the poor (young, excluding Javi and Patrick) skater who actually won)... I'm not worried in terms of feds or media
  12. I feel somewhat the same way. I think the jump definitely fit the music much better in the old one (I like the curve into the first quad sal of the old one than the straight line into the lutz)...but other than that, I feel Yuzu has more to show. Similar to SC15 where the program was good but not amazing at that point, COR17 is the same
  13. Thought this was funny http://genosidal.tumblr.com/post/166660010837/yeah-sure-man
  14. Just waiting for swan and hopefully misha, evgenia, Yuzu pic!
  15. The quota has been filled, Yuzu can now freely dominate the season Honestly though, I feel both Shoma and Nathan are going to peak way too early in the season. It scares me when people do overly well in grand prixs...So I'm fine with Yuzu's second here.
  16. This is totally off topic, but rewatching the FaOI finale again, Yuzuru is literally the center of attention. Do you guys believe that if Yuzu r****s, he would still be the "star"? Cause no one from team Japan currently can command a crowd like he does. (Its like how if Mao is in an ice show she would be the star even though she is r****d)
  17. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o6QJ5DklFojqYNaySLjSaKZ5MiptJhiq4aBa5eZlgds/pubhtml If he got 3+ GOE on everything with his PCS from GPF 2015, he would break his record by about 4-5 points (115.75) oops, didnt see the posts above
  18. Wow, wonder how much that would have scored in comp! I didn't think Chopin could get much refined from before but ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! You know what I don't understand...I know the problem with the 3Lz-3T in the 2014-15 season was the timing in the SP, but how come he has no problem with the timing with a quad
  19. Im personally very happy that 4T has been put back in the SP! more importantly that COD has been taken out
  20. well, Im happy that Evgenia, Misha and Yuzu are going to the same GP! those 2 are so fun together!. To use Chopin again tbh is smart imo. It allows for him more time to practice the long and the new layout. Also since his jump layout is different, it has to have new choreo (plus Yuzu wouldn't stagnate himself). Lastly, atleast we know he wont have a horrendous costume in the short at the olympics.
  21. oh wow, nice new layout of the forum!
  22. Wow, so many new pages than GS. Gotta get used to this
  23. Hi guys, I was Linda on GS forums! Love this site forum and the smilies!!!
