Just saw this tweet, don't know if it answers your question but it sounds like it's not easy for overseas fans to buy on this occasion.

What I have seen so far is that foreign credit cards are accepted and tixplus app allows you to registrer foreign phone number (they even send you sms to verify your account, so it works somehow). TV Asahi doesn't accept foreign numbers but at the moment of application you have to introduce your phone number  again and it is not checked. I wonder which of those three phone numbers is really the one used for issuing the ticket.

  2. The more I think of it less sense it makes. If the info was leaked by jsf, then how do they know about his future show plans. Otherwise it is someone from his team, even less likely.

Anyway his determination about 4A, axels in RF, being at his best now, wanting to perfect his skating, jsf confirming him for new season…how does it connect with what that article wants us to believe.

  3. Adding my 5 cents:

First thing that comes to mind is that he intended to compete at GP series, but something happened in the last two weeks so he can't participate or even wants to skip entire season. Most likely health issue. Also it would explain assignments chaos.

Second: the annoucement comes from his team, not jsf, it can be something entirely personal. Not very likely imho given the timing.

Count it be retirement press con? idk. In other cases  retirement press cons were announced as such.

Oh, I agree that getting 4A in time for this season is virtually impossible. But I wanted to make it clear that he himself did not say "next season". And since this is Yuzu and we know he usually chooses his words carefully, I'm not sure he didn't mean it exactly as ambiguous as that. It could be he's leaving himself room so that, if by some miracle his healing goes even better than planned, then he can still try it. As well as leaving himself the option of not continuing next season. The chances of that are extremely minimal, but I'm not sure immediately jumping to the conclusion that that message is him confirming he'll continue for a season is good, either. Or maybe it's me not wanting to risk getting my hopes up for nothing ^_^; (It also reminds me of the 4Lz thing last season, when a lot of people were like "But he said he's not going to add the 4Lz this season!" and I would say: "Actually, he never said that. He just said he's not thinking about it, several months ahead of the season, which is not the same thing." So I tend to be extra careful with what he says and what he doesn't say ^_^; )

Yes, I think sometimes it is just us projecting our hopes and fears onto whatever he (or Brian etc) says. I didn't read it as a direct confirmation of next season, but I stay rather optimistic nevertheless :)

Well, they said his challenges this season were 4A and 4T-3A. But in the message, which is new, he says literally "next year". Not next season. Next year starts next week. However, as he also says he wants to get back to training jumps, it's obvious he's in no condition of training 4A now, and it's unlikely he will soon enough to make it this season. But just to be clear, he said next year, not next season.

Any translation says next year, but I think it means more next season because it makes more sense for a skater to count in seasons, not in years. Maybe it is just my wishful thinking, but getting stable 4A in 3 months after injury is quite hard even for Yuzu,

What boots do you have now? What jumps do you do in them? Usually boots that are rated for single jumps are actually probably too soft for even those >_>

I have Wifa Prima Hobby, this is a beginners level actually (up to first single jumps). I can do toe loop and salchow ok, flip and loop with too-footed landing and half Lutz.

  7. I am going to buy new boots as a Christmas gift to myself. I want them to last for at least two seasons and the objective for next year is to master Lutz and Axel. I haven't tried any boots yet, my old ones are for single jumps but they are not rigid enough. Should I go for double jumps level boots? I have Edea, Graf and Risport available in my area.

  8. Does anybody own these ones

The content seems to be the same: PC, Sendai Parade, CWW and FaOI, but the first one is quite expensive. So I can't decide...

The new Figure Skaters is tempting but it is sold out for now...

I'm actually over my worries of having new people at TCC.

I'm more afraid that Yuzu's not going to Beijing. Yeah, I know he already said that he's not certain whether he's going or not. And I know I'm being greedy and selfish for wanting him to skate competitively for as long as his body allows him.

Ugh...I'm getting stressed thinking that he's gonna retire someday.

There is nothing you can do about this, just cherish every moment of time we have left.

I am rather selfish in this sense as well and I hope with Boyang and others being there Yuzu will have enough motivation to stay longer in competitive skating.

    ETA sorry for double post

I don't recall every time Yuzu praised a fellow skater, but I do remember that he said that he particularly admired Jason's artistry, Boyang's jumps and Zhenia's mindset.

So... is it really Brian collecting top skaters, or Yuzu chosing his dream teammates ? The ones that, once combined, could make the perfect skater in his views ?

Apart from 4A, being "perfect package" is still one of his dreams/goals.

I'm mostly really happy about what's happening, but a part of me is a tiny bit nervous as well. I feel horrible for feeling and thinking this way, and my logical mind knows better and knows Brian would never endanger Yuzu's training, but with three more seriously contending skaters under one roof I can't help but think about the potential reduction in individual attention. :unsure2:

I am not worried, at least now. Actually I think it will benefit all of them. It worked well for Yuzu and Javi and I hope it to stay like this with others.

And Yuzu doesn't need Brian 24/7.

Ah, I think today is that docudrama broadcast. So maybe it's related to that. (I forgot what time it is)

Yes, it should be this. I'll keep listening just in case :).
