Since Yuzuru and Nathan aren’t here anyway, why do they still feel the need to inflate the score to the moon? I appreciate good skaters and skating, but it’d be so much more enjoyable to see reasonable scores, not a boosted one for selected few. That said, Uno and Yuma do deserve the win for sure.

I am following Golden Skate competition thread at the same time, and it's nice to see a grand total of 1 (one) comment feeling concern over PCS:
Spoiler"I like Yuma, but I think 47 in components are a bit high. He has still room to grow in the interpretation sector and I´m sure he will improve.

Uno's PCS really highlights how inflated Yuma's score is. I still think Uno score is on the higher side, but no way the two are on the same level.

By JSF standards, Yuma should be the new fav since Shoma at this age, should be "up for retirement" (by JSF standard). I hope I am proven wrong.

無論國籍如何?稟賦如何?戰術如何?輸贏如何?正大光明，虛心誠意，大眾自會認同、佩服、敬重、愛戴，甚至長久支持。反過來說，邪氣耍陰、狂妄自大，人多厭煩不喜樂見；贏了，曇花一現，不久後下場難看!輸了顏面掃地，叫囂也於事無補；所以好的運動員，優良品格素養，不能欠缺。
回過頭來看咱家柚子，品格高尚、素養深厚，隨處可見。即使商演，這種充滿歡樂氣氛場合，堂堂正正、虛懷若谷，亦能保持不失，難能可貴。
各種飯撒、賣萌、耍帥、撩人、可愛，眾人皆知，咱就索性不談!同場商演大偶象，普皇、冏尼接觸，不得了呀!一言一行，尊重到了極處，所謂是「隨心所欲，而不踰矩」，一點不假。
對一些前輩，像姐夫、小蘭、明子、安藤…包括專職表演藝術者，或是現役花滑者，亦是細膩謹慎。年紀比他長，如何表演不搶其風采，又能為對方加分造勢?智慧運用得當，可以說分寸本分，全然周到，絲毫不馬虎；落實於古人所說:「誠於中， 而形於外」，柚子這是做出了典範，令人更加佩服。
相較於年齡比他小者，如何關懷呵護照顧，幫助他們提攜信心?從商演結束前幾分鐘，與小伙伴們互動，清晰可見。大家要細心留意，不難發現，這又是一個叫人，能夠為其敬重因素所在。
然後離場前，向觀眾、工作人員，贊助商，表達致辭謝意，時間縱然短促，一兩分鐘寥寥數語，長時間都教人回味無窮，暖心備至。昨天新潟，所有商演結束，柚子這種感恩表達，也是非常之棒。重點上來說:
其一:先是感傷去年此時，由於傷病，什麼都做不到。
其二:感恩今年能回到這裡之慶幸。
其三:強調雖然自己，人生還很短，但這一連串商演，也是他人生中，最幸福的一場梅雨…後又補充，是人生中最棒的一天!
其四:請大家熱烈應援、喜歡花滑，而且向着奥運會努力的選手們。
其五:再次感謝，能和大眾相會真的很幸福、很棒!雖然三個地方，各自分開，各三場公演，美好的回憶也是滿滿的。
其六:相約於明年，請大家繼續關照。
話說得不多、也不怎麼華麗，肺腑之言，暖到什麼程度?無法形容!只能說真是高度藝術、深入人心。真是幸慶，這樣美好之人，居然給我們遇到了!
想想日用平常，要是有緣接觸到他，誰不會自而然，產生認同、佩服、敬重與愛戴?無形之中，誰又不會啟發許多，過去從來沒注意到的，為人處事省思?這一點，許多黨員頗具同感吧!畢竟都深受其影響了!「可見運動員品格素養，重要在什麼地方?言行舉止，具有教育能量」。
正能量，影響效果正面，負能量，影響效果負面。多少運動員，最初開始都是朝正能量發展。可時間長了呢?正大光明、虛心誠意，於現實利益似，乎作用不大。從這一念開始，邪氣耍陰、狂妄自大，樣樣都來，最後自毀前程，這也為數不少!
大嬸非常喜愛柚子品格素養，最重要即他所流露真誠心念。2015年，KENJIの部屋，羽生結弦訪談提到，從小座右銘就即:【勿忘初心】!四個字話說容易，作到極難!他做到了嗎?持續進行中；小時如是，年少如是，成年如是，現在22歲了還如是，未來呢?我們深信必然持之以恒，堅守到老年。
所以他的言行舉止，有這根本在，自自然然，『自信中-不帶狂妄;霸氣裡-不帶自大;正氣中-透明不染邪氣;坦蘯中-自帶正大光明；誠意中-展現虛心受教實質』，隨著認識他的人愈來愈多，國際上，各種不同身分年齡、不同行業，都有眾多為他喝彩、讚歎佩服、敬重之事實，任何時處，皆可見聞，當然這是得力於，父母之善教所成，換句話說，柚子今天的成就，最大恩德源於雙親。
國乒退役老將，鄧亞萍女士就曾經說過:「一個優秀的運動員，如何成長到一個頂尖的運動員，最後成就到一個偉大的運動員?這是必須經歷，許多精神層面提昇，最後才能完成」。
鄧女士這番言論，意味極深!當頭棒喝，優秀不等於頂尖，頂尖不等於偉大，這是三個等級。這才讓我們清楚明白，偉大前提，須先有頂尖實質；頂尖前，先須養成優秀素養。
什麼是優秀素養?知道自己，為什麼選擇作運動員之動機!
什麼是頂尖?正大光明，虛心誠意。
什麼是偉大?時時不忘初心，持之以恒。
羽生現階段，大概是從頂尖，通向偉大前端了；現役到此層次，有目共睹，最快可能就他一人!退役之後，終身到老，偉大到百年代代相傳，教人難以忘懷，應當也是少數中之一，畢竟他的座右銘:【勿忘初心】，這四個字，根底太深了。
一個好的運動員，從優秀到頂尖，從頂尖到偉大，失去這個根，問題就來了；好比樹根爛了，早晚傾倒活不了；論其一生所成，定義不過就是:『一般普通運動員』而已。
最後總結一下，長篇大論不為別的，分享於有緣人，能從不同角度觀看羽生，然後學習他的良好品格素養，處事待人接物，保住人和，這樣也算是將羽生，貢獻給我們的典範，作出最好回報。感恩有緣人，花時間費精神，閱讀這一堆煩索閑言語。

Regarding javi/yuzu relationship, I'd like to think they're friendly rivals rather than soulmates/bffs/bros. At least from what I read from the interviews of Brian/Tracy/related indv, they don't really hang out together and they are not training at the same time. And we know they have very different cultural background and hobbies etc.
To me, it isn't surprising at all that Javi doesn't know/care to know Yuzu very well. Despite what shippers may see, I think it is already very admirable just to be polite and respectful to another top skater fighting for the same resources. -
