Is this girl ex-wife of Yuzu?

hi! i'm sorry if this comes off as rude in any way but please don't speculate about yuzuru's private life <3 he's never mentioned the identity of his wife in any way and he said in his divorce statement that he would appreciate for his wife to not be further theorized/harassed by media. as fans, we should honor the boundaries he's set in place, and just support him in his career <3 thank you for understanding <3

    Hi !

what is the Hashimoto stuff that you are taking about ?

    thank you :heartsign:

so seiko hashimoto, who used to be the head of jsf, is an anti of yuzu, meaning that with her power/influence, she's really made it hard for yuzu over the years :(

after sochi in 2014, she was photographed with daisuke takahashi, (who used to be the world champ) where she allegedly was sexually harassing him by forcing kisses on him despite him trying to resist which broke out into a huge scandal, but despite that, it seems like she's still able to discredit (?) yuzu because of her influence :( apparently she's always really liked takahashi (not his fault ofc) so she's tried to make it hard for yuzu, seeing as they're competitors/used to be competitors

i'm guessing it's kind of how if you really liked a celebrity, but all of a sudden someone new came and became more famous than the celebrity you like, so naturally you feel a bit of annoyance towards the new celebrity and their fandom and want your celebrity to overtake them again in popularity?

or if you liked someone at school but they like someone else? kind of bad examples but kinda that feeling i'm guessing?

but of course, using your power to make it hard for someone is completely out of line

i'm sorry if this makes no sense 😭

(tldr: hashimoto doesn't like yuzu and makes his life hard)

  3. thank you to all the people who spent a lot of time making the video!! it turned out really well and the animation at the beginning was so cute :) everyone did such a great job with their messages and artworks! whoever did the ukelele/guitar(?) part towards the beginning did so well omg

    ( + @rockstaryuzu a;lkdfjkdjfdk hi omg this is a lil' off topic but you're pretty + i love your glasses! )

thanks again to everyone who made this a success <3

Please do not feel any need to apologise for a heartfelt message and being a youngster. The comment was not intended as a criticism at all.

My only concern was for you and for you to be safe. It is certainly not you who is at fault in any way. Maybe just be a little cautious, because on any public forum there will always be spies who may be up to no good. Keep safe

    Hi dear yanjun

There's absolutely no need to apologize for mentioning your age in your previous message. Perelandra's suggestion was only intended to make you aware, that it may caught the attention that you're a teenager and that nowadays, we all need to be cautious when giving pieces of information about us in the internet.

People following Yuzu come from all continents and across all ages. He inspires equally young and old people to try to give our best. So for you too, hold onto your dreams and work hard toward your goals! :67638860:.

    Dearest One,

    This is a lovely message.

Please will you permit me to offer a tiny piece of advice, which you are of course at complete liberty to choose how you may wish to proceed. Due to safeguarding and your own personal safety, it might be prudent not to mention your age. Apologies, if this sounds like an old busy body interfering, in my profession I work with children and young people and I would do anything in my professional and personal capacity to protect and keep them safe. Please know that this advice is well intentioned, I just want you to be safe on line and in everyday life

That feeling of inability to do anything is the worst. I wish there was a way to use our anger for a positive change or anything good. There are so many of us, but not being even able to speak Japanese is so limiting. I wish we could protest to change the law or start a public debate about this, anything. Ignoring this type of content, not clicking the links, it all feels like not enough...

I keep thinking about Princess Diana when she cried to the reporters that were following her: "You make my life hell!" It's been 26 years since she died after being chased by paparazzi and it feels like nothing has changed. How is it still legal to ruin people's lives like this, I don't understand. The harassment must stop, it's been going on for too long.

the feeling that you can't do anything to help really is the worst :( but there actually is a lot that we can do, even without speaking the language!

at this point, if we have to converse in japanese with people, the technology in AI translators have become so advanced that they'll definitely get what we're trying to say :)

but i was thinking, seeing as we have such a strong twitter fanbase, we could try to trend a hashtag to spread awareness? i know it's helped a little bit in the past with similar situations. it might not sound like much but it's definitely a first step in getting other people/fandoms to sympathize and being able to carry out a bigger action. especially with other fandoms that have had to deal with their idols being stalked and harassed (e.g. army, stay, literally most of the kpop fandoms out there-- seeing as yuzu is an army as well, there will definitely be at least a few hundred thousand if not millions of army who will support him (and there are army here on planet hanyu, too!), and i've already found a few on a different and smaller platform that twitter already (as i'm not a twitter user) :))

we could also start a petition of sorts online maybe (like change.org)? i'm not really sure how that works 😭 but maybe someone more experienced can help?

and about changing the law, it's definitely doable if we get enough people involved :) after a lot of complaining from fans, south korea changed their sasaeng punishment in 2021 from just a small fine to more severe ways of punishing, and it's helped so many idols in the past few years :) and i researched a bit, and apparently japan recently had an incident between and idol and a stalker which ended up really badly, causing a change in the law. so if we try, there's a possibility we could change a lot :)

the boycotts definitely help though-- if the tabloids don't get engagement from these types of posts, they'll stop trying and concentrate their efforts somewhere else given time :)

I just watched Re_Pray on my beyondlive archive ticket with my gorgeous 21 year old - they said at the end that instead of replacing the L with an R in re_pRay, he could have replaced the P with an S as he totally Re_SLAYED!! :winner:

this is honestly so cute and wholesome 😭 i wish my family would watch re_pray with me too :(

but i just wanted to say that i had the EXACT same thought when re_pray was announced :)

Perhaps it might be a good idea for Yuzu to leave the country, at least for as long as he is still such a huge celebrity. I know he loves Sendai and Japan and it was difficult for him to live abroad for years. But I think he'll have a much better chance to live a normal and peaceful life when he moves to a different country for a while. Maybe his spouse would be willing to leave with him. Then, they could live a happy life in peace somewhere else. And they could still return to Japan when Yuzu decides to retire from skating for good.

i think it might be a good idea if it gets to that level... but for now i don't think we should interfere with his private life so much, seeing as it is his personal decision. as japan/sendai and skating (and earphones!) are his biggest treasures, him giving one up might be too harsh. as his fans, it might be better to show support and protect him as a first step, seeing as many of us didn't know about the severity of his predicament until his announcement earlier. legal proceedings and help from other fandoms might be good?

there's also the factor of his public image. as japan's champion, there's no doubt that he will always have hundreds of thousands of fans just in japan (and internationally, seeing his well-earned success), however, some fans might take him moving out of the country the wrong way?

it all comes down to his personal decision though, as none of us know him personally, his feelings might be completely different than how we perceive him to be on media sites. if he does take the step to leave the country or to step away from the public for a second though, our number 1 priority as fans should be to make sure that he knows he has our full support and to support his decision.

i really wish this whole situation hadn't happened in the first place :( he deserves to be happy so much

I thought this as well. Yuzuru is such a huge celebrity right now I think he might have to move to Canada or something. I hate the idea of him leaving his family (mom, dad and sister) behind but... the media really is relentless. 😰

oh canada might be good, he'll definitely get a lot of respect and privacy there and there will still be good memories from past competitions and training there so he won't have to start from scratch :)

Maybe I am too optimistic but he didn't say they were already legally divorced but made a decision on divorce. Maybe, seeing fans' support and the fact that so many people rooting for their happiness changes their decision. I am just hoping and praying here. They deserve happiness, God bless them.

that's a happy thought but it also kinda seems like he already made up his mind :( he said that he's going for divorce as to not hurt his partner in the future, and even seeing fanyu's support the fact still exists that yuzuru still has toxic/delulu fans and enemies that might go further to hurt the couple :( i don't think he would go back on that decision and risk hurting said partner in the future.

Not going to lie, now I hope that the wrath of JFanyus falls so heavily upon that particular company that they're forced out of business for good.

i agree, this is so shady of them and so undeserved on yuzu's part... awareness definitely should be spread abt it. leaking private decisions before he's ready to announce them is literally so hurtful, it can't and shouldn't continue.

Sorry for quoting myself, but this is exactly what I was talking about.

We don't have Salt Mines on PH anymore, so it wasn't shared here, but reportedly there were a lot of things going on in Japan since he announced his marriage, and it looked to some fans like it was at least partly an organised effort against him, with a notable role of some tabloids, which I was told are owned by Nikkan, the same one that had leaked the info about his retirement before his press conference, and as a result has been boycotted by JFanyus and seen a severe drop in sales. I don't know these things first hand and I've never read the articles myself (firstly, I wasn't interested in gossip, secondly, I didn't want to give the tabloids any clicks, because to get any kind of engagement was exactly the reason why they continued to stalk and harass him, his wife, their families and friends), so I'm not the best person to talk about it, but even the little that reached my ears sounded awful. My understanding is that these tabloids created a kind of echo chamber that amplified the message and made many people believe and parrot what was published. So please don't think he got divorced because of a few crazy fans wandering around his house. I'm not saying he didn't suffer from his fans, or rather people who used to be his fans, but apparently there's some big money and interests involved. This is probably why he felt hopeless: it seems there was nothing he could do about it, because his main enemies, who started and fueled the whole thing, were just too powerful.

It's so easy to destroy someone's life. I'm so sad and angry. So f*cking angry.

wow i had no idea it was that serious... i feel so bad for him 😭 that's a really sh*tty position to be in and i can't even imagine how stressful it must have been and must be :(

  17. 6 minutes ago, rockstaryuzu said:

    too late, if it does

yes, it is too late, the damage has already been done :(

but honestly though seeing the behavior of stalker fans and delulus, i don't think mere newspaper articles will make fans change their behavior-- once someone has this kind of mindset, they don't really know when to stop... honestly even legal actions can't stop a lot of them. yuzuru has a lot of fans, so there will definitely be at least a handful who still won't stop even after being called out :( and there are definitely a few who think that they "own" yuzu (sasaengs), which is complete bullsh*t btw, he's his own human with his own rights.

it's really sad and unacceptable behavior, and when they try to satisfy their own needs and wants, they end up hurting yuzu in unimaginable ways, like now :( but there really isn't a lot that can change their behavior. we can just try our best as fans to make sure that he's protected and encourage as much punishment on the people who invade his privacy as possible <3

I haven't posted in a long time, but today I need to do it.

I'm so sad and angry for Yuzu, his spouse and their family!

There must be a legal way to stop all that stalking and harassment. It's unbelievable that people, no matter how famous they are, can't be able to live their own lives.

Nobody has the right to  harass anyone. Yuzu is free to share with his fans whatever he wants about his private life (and he can share nothing at all if he wants to).

He is giving all his fans stellar performances, hard work, artistry... but his personal life is his alone.

I don't know if he or his family will ever read this, but, if they do, I'd like to show all my support. He deserves happiness, because he gives happiness to all his fans. And he deserves to be left alone to live his own life. He shouldn't be forced to give up his relationship because of all those nasty people.

I don't know anything about Japanese laws, but I really hope he can take legal actions against those people. And my greatest desire is that Yuzu can find his true happiness.

You're not alone, Yuzu. We love and respect you and your family.

i think there is a way to take legal action against stalking, at least in korea??? i'll check the laws in japan but ik that many kpop companies and idols have been taking legal actions against their sasaengs recently and getting the stalker fans persecuted... i really hope there's something similar he can do in japan to protect his privacy moving forwards, he definitely doesn't deserve having to deal with this all the time :(

  19. honestly this is the most disgusted i've been with people for a long time...

yuzuru deserves the world, but people can't even give him privacy and a normal life, i'm so shocked that he had to go through that. even with all his efforts to conceal his partner's identity, people still couldn't leave him alone? harassing him to such an extent that he felt the need to get DIVORCED is crazy, when will they ever learn to stop omg... to suffer in silence while being under all this pressure is crazy and yuzu is so strong for that. and having cars lurk outside of your house is just too much, you'd think that people would get the hint after he got married... not even just stalking, but also being slandered? for what-- trying to live a normal life and be happy?

really though, i'm so tired of this type of behavior towards public figures that are well into their late twenties to thirties. if a celebrity gives happiness to his fans, shouldn't the celebrity also gain some happiness back? you would think that this type of behavior would stop after so many other celebrities had to suffer something similar because of the toxic/delulu fan situations that happen in asia. fans need to CHILL istg--

my full support goes with yuzuru no matter what he does with his life, he's worked so hard for this and i'd really like to see him get something back <3

but i also agree that we should do something to show support to yuzu... i know there are already birthday preparations going on but i think a bit of extra cheer definitely won't hurt :( poor yuzu omg

  20. i'm not really sure if this counts as "fanart" but i made a photo collage thingie--

no images are mine btw, i found them on pinterest and flickr <3 and "the moon is beautiful tonight" is inspired by &team's song, 月が綺麗ですね

i filtered some images by myself, so that's why they look different here than in the original source :)
