I think most will but to certain amount of time.... really depend on how long is the current contract, and how Yuzu goes from here. As long as he stays as the focus and maintains commercial value, I guess these brands won't leave (sad that's the reason but quite true :(((( ). I'm not too worried about this, at least in the near term future, as Yuzu already built his reputation and social status to the extent that, regardless of what he does in the future, he would always be one of the most valuable athletes in Japan and the best in FS world. Japanese people view him as some sort of spirit, rather than just an excellent skater lol. There might be some going away but some new brands might come in, especially if he decide to start the Continues series. Plus maybe the reason for some brands to leave is, he become even more popular and not affordable LOL

WOW this FAN message video
-
Now everyone just wish there were some accident during the last day of Nagoya ..... so that we could see the 27 years old Parisienne
-
Hope starting from now we crybaby pro are crying for ALL and ONLY touching moments, no more sad moments

I kinda want to translate this article into other languages so more Fanyu could see! Is this allowed?

OMG I love this idea!!!!! SO MUCH! Personally I am a documentary fan and I feel like that documentary could always touch people from a different perspective. If we are able to produce a documentary with different angles, in a more narrative way, I think it could also help with changing the reputation of "Yuzu's crazy fans". A lot of the gossip or common image of Fanyu being crazy are from specific screenshots or moments on the social media, but that should not be the permanent image of Yuzu's fans. Also the reason of some crazy moments should be revealed, rather than only having the result presented. Many non-FS fans dislike Yuzu simply because of his so-called crazy fans, even without understanding how awesome Yuzu is as a person and skater. I do think project like this could help correcting some cliche impression on Yuzu as well, cuz I have heard so many times that people saying "I hate him because he never control his crazy fans"..... I mean I don't care people hating some fanyus, but I care about people throwing bad words on him because of that Fanyu reputation. I hope the documentary could display why and how Fanyu come to together to stand with him, how the group grows bigger and bigger in an expotential-ish way, and how the group support him while receiving LOTS of rewarding moments and gratitudes from him, and how the group became angry and crazy due to the unfair judging system and skaters who go back and forth to him. E.g, some fanyu might know the temperature problem happen in 19 world championship, and because of that, I know some Fanyu brought thermometer to 19 GPF and JN just in case things happen again LOL. In terms of connection, I think perhaps Japan and China are the largest market .... likely more potential sponsors from these two countries. I personally know some businessman (mainly in Finance) and one of them appreciate Yuzu quite a lot. But he never invest in something abstract, so we might need to have a more detailed plan before he is willing to step in. I also have some friends in film production but they are relatively young to the industry, so not very famous or experienced.

I think it's just another Team Sirius... maybe under a different website name, like something related to gyoza or earphone

Me as well! I have been an non-member audience for years and finally decided to join the platform and chat with all Fanyus :)) following Yuzu many years and I'm so glad to see many new Fanyu came this year and stay super supportive to Yuzu

So in another interview (sorry I forgot which .... as I watched too many LOL), he did mentioned that he is willing to teach new skaters who are passion about FS, offering his advice to contribute to their success, but he is not going to train anyone to become another Yuzuru Hanyu (and of course no one can beat him or even approach his honor!!). My understanding is, given how much Yuzu love FS, he would be more than willing to offer his advice and experience to anyone who asks for, maybe even without any charges, but he is not going to be a "real coach" whose goal is to have their students stand on the podium. I mean, whoever want to stands on the podium probably will eliminate Yuzu as an option as well LOL

So adding some tiny translation of his presscon here: At the very beginning he said: これから競技会というものに出るつもりはないです。僕がこれまでやってきた中で、もう競技会に対して、結果ということに対して、取るべきものは取れたなと思ってますし、そこに対する評価をもう求めなくなってしまったという気持ちもあります。それがここまで至った経緯です。 From now on, I don't have any plan to attend competitions. Among all I've done so far, I have already taken all I should take from the competition and result (aka gold medals for all competitions), and I am no longer looking for any evaluation from competitions. That's how it came to this point. Feel like Yuzu just really don't care about ISU judging his FS anymore, all he cares about is his ideal FS and how the audience that value him would like his new programs. This is great! Bye ISU.

I hold a slightly different idea here 0.0. I think he is quite clear that he would not miss the amateur competition during the press con, but he would bring more excitement to his programs so that fanyu would still feel that intense during competition. My take away from the presscon is that, the change in rule is the biggest (if not est then still the bigger) factor that lead to this decision, though he has been thinking about turning into pro for a while. He want to perform the programs that fit his passion for figure skating, but apparently that's not what the rules required or appreciate. He also said "the rules might be adjusted again in the future, or each year", but sounds to me that he does not care anymore LOL. There is a question asking if he would miss the nervous during competition, and he said definitely not, because he will make what he is seeking for more competitive. I think he is more focusing on his heart and just get tired of playing with ISU lol. Just my 5 min take away. Again, Yuzu is always thinking and improving, so everything could be possible.

I believe all the revenue he received before July would still have the 10% off, but after should not have. Team Sirius would definitely make sure everything belong to Yuzu goes entirely to Yuzu
-
I'm a bit lost here.... what translation do we have already and what we don't? I don't want to translate something that has been done, so the Fanyu team could work more efficiently
-
This is the fact for many years lol, I'm surprised many people don't know It really depends on the federation, and for Japan every amateur skater have that 10% rule. In addition, even if you earn money via photos or so, such as the Yuzu exhibition earlier this year, all the revenue would have that 10% applied. If you belong to any company, like IMG or USM, there would be a LOT MORE to be taken away.... that's what Mao experienced many years ago

Now when I count all the gold medals for Japan from 2014 to 2022, for WC, OG and GPF only (as I think GP and FCC aren't as superior...), they got 10 gold medals and 8 of them are from Yuzu. If we don't count WC this year then all 8 medals are from Yuzu........ This man also received the worst treatment. JSF just deserves a bankruptcy :(((((( I'm so glad Yuzu is willing to express what he really feel, the sadness, thankfulness, disappointment, rather than just trying to be nice here anymore.
