Yuzu's Haru No Koi was amazing as ever.... And the finally with him and the mascot... so fun! I am glad he recovered his smile... May he have a nice physical recovery after all he injuries he got in training the 4A... Hopefully we will see him again this year in Montpellier.

It is more than amazing it is breathtaking. Follow his feet and listen to the music a match made in heaven!

I am thrilled with his FS program. He managed to get 8.73 points from that 4A (which is more than 8 for a clean 3A in the first half). So happy for him. God keep him safe in the year to come and let us enjoy his skating as long as it's possible. Let 2022 bring him the achievement of all his goals.

I was looking again on youtube at Yuzuru's FS on ISU channel. The fact that this video got 23.58 K views with 1.7 K likes in 18 hours compared to the one with Nathans performance that got 12K views on the same channel, in the same time shows us without any reasonable doubt that people loved more Yuzu's art and even Japanese music (which by the way people like Zhulin commented that is not understandable for western people !!) than anything else. Thank for posting this I think that in what concerns the "downgrading of his skating skills" they could only refer to he fact that he did not include 3Flip and 3 Lutz jumps in this free program (since all the jumps he performed were perfect in all aspects-launching, rotation and landing).

Both programs were amazing. However, I have noticed he did not include the Lutz jump in his FS. I wonder why he decided not to do it. In the first half of the program he had the 4Lo and also a 3Lo. As we know already the points you get for 3Lo are less than those you could get for 3Lz. Maybe including a 3Lz will increase the base value of the program. I ask myself also why the spin after the 3A in the SP was not counted. I've seen several comments on youtube stating that it did not have the required number of rotations (which is false since it had at least 3 rotations in each position), or that the referees mistook the sit twizzel as a spin instead of a transition to the proper spin. Does anyone know anything about it? From his interview it seems that even Yuzuru did not know why this happened.
