  1. Hi guys, I need your advice. I am not sure whether I should post it here or elsewhere. I've got tickets for Worlds but if Yuzu doesn't go, I am going to cancel my FP and Gala tickets. How long should I wait for the confirmation? or Could we deduce now that he's not going for sure? will you please kindly PM me your opinion so that I wouldn't disrupt the forum. Thanks, Thiri
  2. After watching the interview with Shuzo, I am so happy that Yuzu is so content/fulfilled and feels accomplished now. well... It just took two Olympic Golds! all these injuries and everything that he's been through taught him a lot and I think he found a new perception. I am so proud.
  3. I wish economics was as interesting as Hanyu Yuzuru. I have to get out of this beautiful dream and get back to my reality/study.
  4. I feel sad that Yuzu was skating with still injured ankle and had to take painkillers. But I am not crying and worrying, I am happy because he achieved his goal and satisfied and happy. At this point, I believe he won't go to Worlds and I hope he won't (what do I do with my platinum tickets ). He will heal and continue skating for sure, I truly believe that. So, I hope all the fans would be happy and enjoy this moment instead of worrying. What TCC and Yuzu did for media play is called strategy, not lies. it's just playing mind-games, I am an economist and studied game-theory. they did use similar theory. Without this strategy, Yuzu might not win this, I am sorry I won't go into detail, i am such a lazy person. But yeah... Let's ENJOY this moment guys!!!
  5. exactly, I swore I would never do post-grad after my graduation ceremony. but here I am, reading post-grad.
  6. awww... guys.. finally... a big Praise from Patrick... My heart is so happy!!!! Just woke up from my 12-hr sleep. feel refreshed.
  7. that's what I thought too, he looked quite happy/proud of his hair or may be of Yuzu.
  8. There is no "what if", what's done is done - it's called reality and we don't owe any explanation to anybody's fans. Yuzu won decisively - more than 10 points over Shoma. It doesn't matter if Nathan won the free, Yuzu won COR free, Skate Canada free for like how many times but it didn't change the final result. Let those losers be losers and let's ignore them. Let's not let them disrupt our Joy!!!!
  9. yeah.. it feels like a dream, partly because I had 2 hours of sleep last night(or this morning should I say) and my sleeping patterns all messed up.
  10. I am skipping one lecture on Thursday since it was such a boring one and today I was mostly sitting in that lecture thinking about Yuzu anyway. On Friday, I think I have to wake up at 4am but since my lecture is at 11am, hope I would make it - if I can't make it, it doesn't matter, I could sacrifice a few lectures for Yuzu's Olympic moment.
  11. same here, while I should be reading for my thesis and essays. I can't help but stalking Yuzu news non-stop. two tabs for Planet (General and Olympic fluff), Tumblr, twitter, fb fanclub. I am so deprived of Yuzu last three months that I couldn't do anything now but enjoying the rain at the end of the drought. I have to force myself to concentrate in the lectures, with which I had very little success.
  12. Didn't Brian say Yuzu has been practicing 3 versions? so.. it can be anything depending on successful run-throughs and his condition I guess.
  13. I don't think Brian is hyping Yuzu, he's just saying how he feels about him. well.. he just spoke out more this time, may be a revenge to US media for annoying him.
  14. oh god.. i know US media is hyping Nathan but "OGM is Chen to lose" title is too much. Chen hasn't even medaled at World's Championship, while both Boyang and Shoma did and Javi's 2-times World champion. I don't even need to compare him with our Zuzu...like Brian said.
  15. I might need to start meditating to control my excitement and may be start a praying session for Yuzu to win Gold, like my Mom and Aunties used do to during my exam times. And Bravo to Brian. He's doing a really great job with media.
  16. I hope the fans will enjoy the Korean food they offer. It's really good, or may be it's just me who really likes Korean food. And the beach there is really beautiful too.
  17. nah... the whole Journey is what it's worth.
  18. I think Yuzu is not in Peak-form yet, that's why he skipped the team event. As all of you know, he can peak in like 2 weeks, so he's using one more week time. If he competes in team event, he has to be there 1 week or a bit more earlier without a rink to practise. so.. yeah.. he's good with this decision. I am sticking to my no-panic rule.
  19. i decided not to panic. whenever I panic, the result's not good. so I will just drink my wine and trust Yuzu 100%. He'll do well, he knows what's best for him.
  20. I am now so ready to panic. Wow... but I believe in Yuzu. whatever's best for him.
  21. Dear fellow beloveds, I've finally done with my exams. Started planning for Milan now and will start buying wine for Olympic in the coming week. So looking forward to Olympic. I hope I could meet other fans in Milan and fangirl over Yuzu. I will be heading there alone.
  22. I have already bought Milan tickets but haven't booked flights. just to make sure I don't have mid-term, I asked my programme director whether that week is free or not and he said.. there will be no class on that week but it is the time to work on your thesis. My thought was like --- so it's a Green light to go to Milan, cheering for Yuzu is more important than working on my thesis anyway... I just have to work on my thesis earlier than others in order to see Yuzu!!! So yeah... I will be in Milan!!!! yayyy...
  23. “Tough times are when I can grow.” - Yuzuru Hanyu, 17 years old, before his first World Championships (Nice 2012). copied from tsukihoshi14 on Tumblr. This is how I am coping with essays. I shall grow during this tough time, Yuzuru!!! my brain hurts though.. after reading 10 research papers.
  24. yes. I have. and all the news archive dated back to sochi olympic and his senior career. I dug deep.
  25. hey.. no worries... i think I've already covered all those documentaries too and all the possible blogs, accounts and news websites. I've spent like my whole career break last year digging anything and everything about Yuzu. My family even got worried about me since I've been watching/reading about him all the time. they gave up when I visited South Korea for 4CC just to see him...after knowing him for like 3 months. ha ha ha... my poor Mom... I scared the hell out of her with my obsession.
