Dr said it was a "catastrophic" fracture (literally said, the worst one you could get. I might not be able to use high heels ever again lol), had to get surgery to put a plate and screws in and i'm looking at six more months of physical therapy. 

 

I'm glad to come back and see he is still trolling everyone by suddenly appearing, skating and leaving

 

ahhhh i hope everything works out for you!! the next six months will no doubt be tough but u can definitely do it!!!

I just saw a CM for the coming JNats and can I just say, how shameless JSF and Fuji TV are for using Yuzu's images and footages like that. The man is not even in the circus anymore LOL. 

 

If they are so, so, so very confident about the faces they chose to promote, why not just relying on them? All the resources needed are there (in theory) for drama and click and attention, no?

 

Also, what new hero? None of the skaters showing up are even new LOL (except baby Mao)

did the salt thread get deleted? i was under the impression that only active posters could use it which is why it disappeared for me...

it always amazes me how yuzu has managed to preserve the beauty of the soul in his person and what he does

-still amazed by his fan's gestures, and grateful

-how he so adequately can convey the ethereal theme in his skating

-still loves his chosen craft no matter how bad it's been for him, he keeps loving it over and over again

-etc. just an overall very radiant person

I haven't watched prologue yet but just from the photos/various recaps I've seen circulating around social media, I'm very glad that he's at this point in his career and life. He was already one of the most consistent skaters in the field before, but to see him skating clean in back to back shows really speaks to his overall well-being. I hope he had a happy 28th and the year will treat him kindly.

1. HOW DOES HE LOOK SO GOOD IN A PHOTOSHOOT THAT ONLY TOOK 30 SECONDS AND RIGHT AFTER DOING THREE RUNTHROUGHS OF SEIMEI AHHHHHHHHH
2. LOVE the new jacket and he brought Pooh san with him too so cute~
3. I wonder what he's planning...this new era is soooo exciting!!!

i second this. also if he were to suddenly have a public social media account (even one that's run by a team as some professionals do) the servers would all crash because so many ppl would follow him at once XD

Anyway, I do think the PR he talked about is PR to 90 degree at least, judging from his demonstration. Do consider is what is lost in translation.

Some weeks ago, while browsing Yuzu vids on YT, I stumbled upon footage of the Torino 2019 medal ceremony with fancam coverage of the approx 10 minutes where Yuzuru is in the background of the rink with Ghislain and he's dancing and laughing almost all the time while waiting for the junior ceremony to end - it appealed to me so much that I sacrificed almost an entire night to search for all available related videos, and I'd like to share with you the fruit of my sleepy labour. My apologies if these have already been posted here in earlier years or former pages, alas I don't have the time just now to read 7k+ pages, I struggle to keep up with the current news and infos as it is.

My reply:
"No, my darling daughter, Yuzu is not the 'winner' of the gold  medal here; that is the yawning youth beside him in the yellingly-yellow shirt, looking like he'd rather be elsewhere. But Yuzu is the winner of all the hearts, like always!"
 

 

 

 

 

 

natty's costume designer really didn't have to do him like that smh what a travesty of a free skate outfit 

recently i have been laughing at the shenanigans of yuzu medal ceremonies

what i have found so far: 

• helenski 2017 small medal ceremony and 2018 Autumn Classic ceremony are undoubtedly my favorites 
• for some reason 2019 nhk medal ceremony footage is hard to come by? at least so far as i have searched but someone documented his fight with the flower crown XD

jmedia being stingy with yuzu material will always annoy me to no end 

found this fancam of otonal, and he was smiling so brightly at the end! i don't think i've seen this expression on him after the skate ever since, correct me if im wrong...it's just been looks of determination etc. or the face of one who has consigned himself to failure
