2020 World Figure Skating Championships - Tickets and Discussion!

If anyone has saved emails from Skate Canada / Montreal2020 stating that practise was only available with all event and that only leftover tickets would be available, ditto if you’ve bookmarked any tweets from Skate Canada saying the same thing, perhaps we should pool them all together to make a list of evidence? I really want to put my hand up to organise it but this sort of stress takes too much of a physical toll for me to guarantee I’d be able to follow through. :68811363:

Time to do some detective work in office later :hachimaki:

The thing is, by P1 they could be referring to the Gold Circle seats that were $2400 a piece. Obviously those ones were not on sale today. But other P1's were.

Should we think we won't be able to see the practice at a sub rink?

Usually practice rink is closed for viewers. I only know that it was open during Worlds in Japan and closed in other countries.

Thank you.

I went to the sub rink of Saitama Worlds to see the practice, that's why I was wondering about Montreal.

Practicing without fans observing everything closely might be better for Yuzu.

In Saitama I went too, but in Helsinki Worlds practice was closed and practice rink didn't have seats.

As there is not tickets in Montreal practice must be closed too.

Yes, but I believe it's only for main rink.

In Saitama they also sold tickets for practice rink for the same day and for competition days.

To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a second rink at Bell Center. Any practice at a different rink would likely be off-site and not open to public, is my guess.

Also, the tickets that have been sold for the 16th and 17th are for the main rink

On the tickets page of the official website it says tickets begin at 129$ but I don't remember seeing tickets that price? Or was it just presale price?
