Tbh I cannot believe the GP season is already at our doorstep. Where did the time go?!

It went very fast indeed - but we had hell of an off season this year.

now I’m scratching my head trying to figure out who can win here. The field is... not exactly stacked.

Almost as if it was on purpose .... cough.

Ahem. Well for the men it's Nate but I think they aim to get Zhou into 2nd too, to try and give him a shot at the GPF. If he skates clean, Uncle Voronov may have a shot at bronze.

The ladies are more interesting, though I think it's probably between Satoko and Kaori on one side and Bradie on the other, who will no doubt have a home boost, and her URs may suddenly go poof.

I had the same hunch about Nate and Vince, actually.

A new sort of rivalry - coaches’ fight?

If Bradie skates clean - she's winning this. I'm calling it now... the "home ice" advantage will give it to her. Satoko's jumps are a little iffy this year so I think Kaori may sneak in for the silver.

Re: Men - man Nate did not look good at JO but I'm still calling him the winner. Remains to be seen how he's going to balance Yale/College life with elite FS training without Raf there. Vincent did not look good at the US Challenger and his quads are so super iffy... But if he skates near clean then he'll likely get silver. I think Nam will do well here... He won the US Challenger, he's got 2 quads back (I think)...
