Am I missing something or is this one of the easier JGP events for ladies? The two russian ladies (Tarakanova, Tarusina) are the only ones who have a chance of making JGP? It guarantees at least one of them to the final, it seems. Especially given the last JGP was such a bloodbath >_> :squishedPooh:

Yes, that's true but there'll be other good skaters, too like Tomoe, Yi Christy, Haein Lee.

And the men's even is going to be really interesting with Artur, Petr, Conrad, Tomoki and Koshiro. I can't wait!

Starting orders:

crossing everything I have and more for Nastya:fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:  go and take that GPF spot bb! Or at least do your best, no regrets!:tumblr_inline_n18qrbDQJn1qid2nw: if I think I thougth she could skip the whole GP, I'm so glad she got back to from so quickly and could grab a second assignment! But she's hungry and I can't help it, I want to see her beaming with pride after this comp too :tumblr_inline_mueoe3Yabh1qdlkyg:

Some of my fave ladies in the event. Compared to Ostrava, the fight for the GPF spots is a bit less crowded here (but Nastya competing is enough to make me super-nervous, so I guess things balance out:tumblr_inline_ncmifiE3IT1rpglid:)

The men competition is so interesting, at least 3 boys who could go to the final with a podium finish but everything can happen and Conrad might pull himself together like Joseph did in Ostrava and take one spot on podium... I'm rooting particularly rooting for Koshiro and Tomoki, but thus far my faves aren't doing a great job qualifying themselves:tumblr_inline_n18qr8XewT1qid2nw: ('cause stumbles, missed combos and so on).

After last week RJ from Kirill, this week it's time for another RJ and Petr's colorful costumes  :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid: (oh no I forgot Conrad has a RJ too, but without the colorful costume:13877886:)

Just wishing for no meltdowns and no sad faces :smiley-angelic001:

In ID I only recognize Avonley NGUYEN / Vadym KOLESNIK, so I'm a bit less excited about the event...but still chances to find new faves!

Now some more planning to do to see what I can watch when:matrix: I won't try to watch parallel livestreams tho, it was too tiring last week, so this time I'll probably prioritize JGP men and ladies over everything else...

If Rion Sumiyoshi wins, she can still make it to the final :)

Gold + Bronze tops silver x 2, even if the points are the same. It probably won't happen, though. Tarakanova was 15 points ahead of her when they battled in Canada.

It is not as strong a field as last week, I agree. That was the most exciting JGP for me in terms of unpredictability.
