I need to know, am I the only one who gets really emotional whenever I see Yuzu's perfect 3Lz at ACI?

After the injury and more than a year with no lutzs, I honestly thought that we will never see it again. I know he was jumping 4Lz at shows and that he did it in practice, but part of me was still very worried that it would not last. So, for me, that one 3Lz in the free was (and still is on re-watch) the most beautiful jump ever. It somehow became more real that he is healthy enough to not just practice it but to also have it in his program.

I pray that this will be the last time I will ever have to worry about it or injury ever again :smiley-angelic001:

I was very happy to see his triple Lutz back too. I am not sure if it is the most beautiful jump ever because there are too many to choose from ;) But it was definitely worth +5 GOE, it was textbook perfect.

Considering that I am using emotional impact as a criteria for the most beautiful jump ever, my pick will probably change very soon

Yes. Tbh, I hold my breath every time he's in mid-air now, and get emotional when he lands safely. Fanyu PTSD. For me, every jump safely landed is the most beautiful right now.

Translation of Yuzu's interview in the Ajinomoto recipe book.

All the food in this book looks delicious. :drool1:

The mental image of him looking at a big heap of rice or a giant onigiri and going :deadinside: *sigh:68468287:

I never realized that his peak only lasts a day. How complex, to balance all those factors - small appetite, huge nutritional requirements, maintaining a consistent weight, competition schedule, travel. It was incredible that they managed to time it so exactly for the Olympic FS, which I think he said he peaked at.
