I think Daniel has a 4lz ...it’s going to be interesting with Stephen 4lz ...

Anna S also has a 4lz?

I really hope Mitsuki step up his game :tumblr_inline_n18qrbDQJn1qid2nw:

I’m rooting for JPN ladies and Young You :tumblr_inline_mfy92hO4sm1qid2nw:

@Sammie Yes, Daniel has a 4Lz, and I think he even did a -3Lo with it in practice though I don't expect that. Gogo too.
And yes! Anna S has the opportunity to land it before Trusova but tbh, I am skeptical, though we'll see.

This is a really tough year for all the other ladies, what with this generation of Russians.

It’s going to be really hard. I’m just hoping JPN ladies or Young You can get to the finals at least.  :13877886:

I really like young you, but I'll be really happy for Anna s if she were to land her 4Lz. What a comeback from sitting out the whole last season!

I see some of my faves from last season in ever discipline + some exciting new entries! :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid:

I'm curious to see if Daniel can step up (and if he's improved in his SS since when I last saw him, too... he has the personality, it would be a pity if SS held him back). And Stephen! Who'll land the best 4lz?

Looking forward to Anna S. programs, tho I'm not as emotionally attached to her yet... I don't really care about her 4Lz, tho kudos for her grit going for that but I'll root for Sasha's 4Lz more, sorry:peekapooh:

I don't know much about Anna T. and Tomoe K., so I'm curious about them too!

Young You! plz go again to TCC plz I want to root for her but I'm already missing last season pirate girl, her new programs don't feel nearly as fresh and exciting as POTC to me:13877886: I hope she can rotate her jumps (and I guess she'll go for 3A:headdesk:) and land them...last season it was sad to see her lose so many points because of UR calls, her programs were lit... but I hope this JGP series will go better for her, results-wise (tho it looks harder, tbh)

So, Men's SP is on Thursday 11:30 local time, and Ladies 16:45? Or do I read the schedule wrong? :scratch2: (I really hope to see at least ladies live, but work is so crazy right now... why can't I have fs season vacation)

Yes, that's correct.

I'm super happy, because I didn't realize until now I may be able to watch the Ladies live. It'll be one of the very, very few JGP events I can watch live this season. Can't wait!

Are we sure Young You is going for the 3A? I admit I don't follow her all that closely but that 3A wasn't exactly competition ready the last time I saw it. I mean granted, she may decide to simply go for it considering the competition but still.

I have no idea what I'll be able to watch. The thing changes daily but I too should probably be able to catch the Ladies SP for sure (now watch it change).

She tried to do 3A during Korean qualifiers but she fell.

It was a bad skate for her but understandably. Her grandma and Denis (who she was close too) just passed away during that time.

True but still. I am not sure it's quite ready. Rules are more unforgiving this time around when it comes to falls so I don't know. Hopefully it turns out for the best!

Thank you for all the info.

Only a few days left and we'll get to see what they can do. Yuhana Yokoi has practiced 3A as well, so let's see if she tries.

I can't wait for the first JGP of the season, it's going to be really exciting. There'll be lot of great skaters in the men and ladies field (and I don't know much about junior pairs/ID but I have an all-event ticket so I'm going to watch them too - or at least some groups).

I am curious how Stephen will skate at his first JGP, and also how Daniel Grassl improved since last season (and of course about his 4Lz), there'll be Donovan, Mitsuki, Andrew, Egor and Roman, too. In the ladies it'd be great to see Anna Shscherbakova's 4Lz as well but I am not sure she's going for it this time.  Or You's 3A, but she may try it at there.
