Kazakh justice moves extremely swiftly it seems. Did the suspects maybe turn themselves in? Does anyone know?

They still looking for the other suspect but they got a name. From what I read, it’s only because Denis is hi-profile that’s why justice was swift or something like that.

A woman who happened to be at the scene of the crime said she was leaving a shop when she saw several people asking for help.

“One guy later told me that he was sitting in his car and saw how three people started to fight. Then one of them fell down. He immediately left his car to provide help and it was he who called an ambulance. He identified the figure skater with help of the car’s registration certificate,” the women was quoted as saying by nur.kz

“When the ambulance took him, his right leg was visibly swollen. It became swollen so fast, there was so much blood there, but nobody could have thought he would die,” another witness said, describing the tragic episode.

The suspects said they only stab him once in the leg so they can get away but with the evidence of all the cuts and wounds he has on his body. :003:

Everytime I read that 1993-2018 it's like being punched in the stomach :sad4: It will never make sense.

Here a older video from Olympic channel with subs in many languages - Denis talking about his skating life, his preparation for Sochi and then PyeongChang, and his hopes for FS and his country  :tumblr_m7etfqA8wS1qb1380:(sorry if already posted)

In the name of the skaters' community, the Hungarian Skating Federation remembering Denis with a candle and a rose.

It's still impossible to process how senseless his tragedy is, how he had to die....over absolutely nothing. He had dreams and plans, he could have done many interesting things in life because he was talented in many ways. And in one moment, it's all gone.

There are no words for this, really.
