Tatsuya after SP:

Quote

Abstained due to right ankle injury during 6 minutes of practice at the All Japan Championship last December. I took a rest in January this year and started practicing on ice in February. It was in June after the state of emergency that I was able to practice in earnest while also conducting training to prevent recurrence of injuries. There was a flashback saying, "I thought about last year's all-Japan injury in 6 minutes of practice," but after finishing the restarting performance, "I'm glad I finished without any injury. I was almost 100% done in practice (triple) Axel I'm disappointed that I made a mistake like 3-3. " I will raise the gear for free on the 26th.

Sota's new coach is Yoshinori Onishi.

He is taking break from Uni right now.

Sota seems to be kuyashiii after SP. :67638860:

Haven't seen any performance yet, but it looks like the senior guys at Chubu block were happy to be able to compete.

Ryuju says that he never thought that to be able to skate would make him that happy. He says he didn't feel strange to skate without an audience. According to a reporter, he got so nervous that he couldn't stop shaking.

Sota says the first competition after a while made him smile without thinking. He has gone back to coach Yoshinori Onishi, who had been coaching Mitsuki Sumoto and Tatsuki Machida as well. They started working together this month. The costume for the Dark Eyes was made by Shizuko Orihara, who has been making many of his costumes. She also designed Yuzu's costumes for White Legend, Etude, R&J 1.0.

I'm surprised that Tatsuya still skate in juniors.

I'm not asking about touching ice. I'm asking about gymnastics moves like a cartwheel or a handspring, or for example the banned backflip.

I thought it was something about your weight needing to be over a blade if you're going to touch the ice with another part of your body. I watched Nathan's slide from his free last season again and again because his blades touch the ice but his weight didn't seem distributed on them so much as his hand. I couldn't find anything in the ISU rules about it and I definitely looked. I think so long as it's not specifically banned like a backflip and it's obviously choreographic, it's okay. Kind of like how Yuzu's delayed single axel doesn't count as a jump pass because it's noted and recognised as choreo.
