Thank you, I am having difficulty coming to terms he’s no longer with me. He was well over 17.

When I lost my dog of 12 years after raising her from when she was a 12-week-old puppy, I cried for 3 days straight. It will take time to get over your cat. He was not just a pet, but a good friend for 17 years. It takes time, but things will get better. Sending you a big hug.

I'm so sorry for your loss ... I know how it feels ... I lost my beloved old cat last year ... she was 21 yo ... I still miss her...

Mine was 17. Could have lived for years, but... his kidneys gave out.

Woah. Here’s a thread about cats.

Yall may or may not believe it, I had 17 cats before, and all of them are stray cats.

I think stray cats generally like to do their business outside of the house(for mine).. so I don’t really have to deal with their waste. Which is great.
Sad story here, so basically one day my cat gave birth to 3 kittens and (you know, cats move their kittens around by biting to their skin/flesh on their necks
And so one day I think an unleashed dog chased after them (I heard barking sounds) and so the momma cat quickly moved their kittens into my house (we were the only people to take care of them..) and I think she accidentally overbit the neck of one of the kittens (there are scars in its neck), and it just died when the momma cat put it down. It just kept purring loudly as if asking me to save it but I couldn’t. I was about 8 that time, alone at home, I didn’t know how to deal with the body so I just cried till my parents came back.

Over the few days the momma cat refused to eat anything, we were worried so we took it to the vet. It had a very very tiny appetite and after that it refused to eat again, and it eventually just starved itself to death ig...after it went out and never came back for a week....... and the cleaner told us she found it dead under a tree.

Now the kittens are already old, and had more and more babies. My family members are 4-cat-generations-babysitters.:tumblr_inline_mzx8t1Yuvn1r8msi5:Male cats bring their “girlfriends” home, and sometimes more male cats that perform fights in my house.:tumblr_inline_mm2wb3v3qq1qz4rgp:

People in my neighbourhood know my family adopts stray cats, so whenever they see a stray/dirty cat anywhere they just throw it in front of our door(We check CCTVs). After we groomed them, fed them and they’re “officially ours”, they get stolen by the same bunch of people.

Smh...............

I didn’t know people like this exist. At least the cats are happy(?) I hope.

My cat gave birth to 4 cute kitties two days ago! They are all so quiet and cute. Mommy seems to be really happy and relieved after she gave birth and she spends all day napping with her kittens though she does look kinda lost, maybe she's still confused. I guess I am an auntie now. :tumblr_m9gcvqToXY1qzckow:

Congratulations, auntie!

Four kittens for a first time, it is quite a lot! The ones I saw had one to three. Does she have enough milk?

Hi everyone! I'm really worried about the stray cat living in my backyard :weeping: this morning she threw up her breakfast (it wasn't a hairball.) I'm wondering if that's a sign of indigestion? or is she sick? Or should I check if there's something wrong with her food? Recently, she's been eating very little, so I'm really concerned about her health. :sad-smiley-046::tumblr_inline_n2pjd2atId1qdlkyg: I'm really sorry, but does anyone have a guess on what is wrong? I'm really scared that something is wrong with her health...
