Junior Skaters of 2017/18 season

Recommended Posts

Hello! Are there any other Aussies going to Brisbane JGP? I impulsively took a day off work (Thursday) - since I was unable to convince anyone to come with me,  I was hoping to sit next to a fellow Fanyu so I don't feel so awkward, lol  >_<   .  Also, might someone explain to this clueless newbie how to interpret the program? How do I know which sessions are practices and which are the competitions? Excited to see my first competition!

The fully colored blocks are practices while the semi colored ones are the competitions.

We are almost there. The ladies event is the one I am really waiting for to be honest, though we'll see, it might be good all around and hopefully!

Gladi will open up a proper event thread, so that we can watch, but if anyone wants it now, the Short for the Ladies livestream is here. All of these will be hosted on that channel, but we'll put them up in order as they go.

Who of the junior men have quads? Krasnozhon, Savosin, Torgashev, any others?

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea  Maybe Orzel actually. I am much more focused on the ladies, than the guys, it's been like this for a good couple of seasons now. Maybe someone else is paying more attention to them, hopefully!

And the ladies event is again going to be interesting. Soon enough we'll be able to start keeping the score for the potential JGPF candidates, it's going to be tight! Eunsoo, Gubanova and Tarakanova, wonder if Iwano fixed her US issues.

I am sort of surprised to see Loena on this list but I guess, considering she couldn't get the GPs this was the logical choice. Lets see how she's getting on, she was very good at Europeans last season.

Oh the event thread will go up tomorrow!

I'll actually be able to watch this at decent hours this time! Only it'll be smack in the middle of my work day, which doesn't help.

Yes, I'm going to have the same problem, though at least the men are towards the end of it. I'm probably going to have to pass on the SD though, way too awkward a time.

Like I said in the Austria thread, I am afraid Gubanova skated herself out of that 2nd assignment.

Considering that there is her + 4 spots left in the last 2 JGPs, and one is sure to go to Trusova, and now another to Tarakanova, it would make sense for RusFed to withdraw that one from her and gain another free slot there, especially Guliakova is currently sitting pretty. Her jumps are good and she potentially has the 3A too, if her foot is fine now.

What are the chances with men, Krasnozhon is getting the second GP as well as Pulkinen?
