He has such good concept related to his programmes I think and selects clothes that accentuates the feel of program.

I was wondering who normally does his costumes and how much it costs. I read once that fs costumes can be really expensive and Yuzu is one who goes for over the top to establish his program.

The sheer amount of details in his costumes it's amazing!

I remember being quite shocked when I saw a close-up of the R&J1 costume... those 'belts' (don't know what to call them) had all a different design :omg:

The belts... UGH. When i did my R+J1 nails i felt so bad because i had to cheat to get something that resembled the different designs... I was so impressed by all that detail...

I would like to see Yuzuru in red (like in that Ghana cm), and red is my favorite color, so

Me too! I highly doubt he would choose this particular color for a competition costume, but a girl can dream, right? :angel2:

Who knows

But, i hope, for the olympics, he is going to be the most sparkling disco ball on the ice with a lot of gold sparkles

Seems to be a minority opinion, but I prefer Chopin2 to Chopin1. Gold accents feel lucky to me.

Somewhere there is a piece written about kintsugi- the Japanese art of repairing a broken pot with gold lacquer. The writer had photos of a blue pot repaired in that way and linked it to the alterations in that costume. I've no idea whether they were correct but it was a charming thought- wish I could remember where I saw it.

We talked about it in the FF  It was an especially sentimental concept because of the hardship he went through the previous season, the crack representing his injuries and the inability to skate that beautiful program clean. :crybaby:

I should have known it would have been there- such a variety of stuff buried in that FF!

I love all Yuzu's costumes (not counting blue Final Time Traveler- I want to forget about it), but my favourite for now is Requiem. It's crazy and the details are amazing

I also share the sentiment for costumes with waist belt. He look gorgeous in them!

Hello,

and I hope it is ok to post a technical question: I tried to post some images of costumes I have on my pc, and they won´t copy...I use the img- option above, but probably I am doing something wrong.

I have them as png here.

Has anyone an idea?

Probably my favorite costume, or at least the one that speaks to my aesthetics the most. The line of his legs going into his waist/belt then the lovely gradient of the shirt. I just have a special attachment to this one, especially because I love his Chopin program, though there are other costumes I absolutely love too.

I find his Chopin1 waist/belt more beautiful than C2 one. In fact I like his C1 costume more than his C2 one.

the shirt's colour is so subtle but vibrant!

and it complements his skin tone so much imo. Chopin 2 is also lovely, but I do feel the light blue becomes a bit pale on the ice sometimes, and it washes out his face :silent:

I truly understood the amount of details in his costumes when I started drawing them. Each one is a masterpiece, whether you like it or not. And the person that puts all the glitter has a lot of patience
