That's true. Hope it won't be too much of a bloodbath for foreigners trying to get tickets.

Both for this and the NHK Trophy.

Just call me Elizabeth Bathory. :hachimaki:

(Maybe don't Google that if you're squeamish.)

I hope it doesn't put you off your food. I wouldn't want you to go Hungary! :xD:

:headdesk: I'm so sorry for my lame joke!

 Not at all. I like reading about the weird and wonderful (okay, maybe that last one doesn't quite apply...).

GPF schedule and ticket prices...

Oh my gosh! Those ticket prices are expensive! :sad-smiley-046:

From the referenced link in the posts above http://www.skatingjapan.or.jp/image_data/fck/file/2017_Figure/GPF/17GPF_summary_information0810.pdf

- Application for ticket lottery will be from Sep 9 to 15.

- If any tickets are unsold after the above first batch of sales, these will be available for purchase from Oct 6 to 12.

- Website for the GPF: http://gpf2017japan.jp/

On the GPF website, the ticket sales page for overseas fans can be found here:

http://www.e-tix.jp/gpf2017oversea/gpf2017oversea.html

Gah! No all-event tickets!!! Why? Why? Why?!! :smiley_hairpull:

Now I have to make a tough decision. If I lose out on tickets for NHK do I try resale or try for GPF and then try for even more expensive GPF resale after that? Argh, Japan, please be nicer to foreign fans and give us all event passes!

Not happy with Arena long and short side being same ticket category. (Kind of not happy about random seat allocation altogether, really. >_<)

And yeah, it's more difficult with no all-event tickets.

What if you purchase one and can't get a ticket for the other days?

Oh, and for those who will be availing of tour packages with the accredited travel agencies,

you might want to check their websites or contact them to confirm their ticket application deadlines.

They might have earlier deadlines than the ones given above. Best to be sure.

Gpf works better for me than nhk, I am gonna try my luck. really hope they allotted some for foreigners. :tumblr_inline_ncmif7esGm1rpglid:

It seems clearer than NHK that they will because the foreign sale starts the day of the lottery application! Hooray! I'm still going to try for both. I'm so nervous. :sadPooh:

The GPF coincides with my annual trip back to Kyushu for the holidays (even though I will be technically doing desk work until after Christmas), so I think I will try to get a pair of tickets for Thursday and Friday.  Tickets are very expensive:eeking:---almost total of 730 USD for 2 days for 2 people, so 3 -4 days of tickets is too much for me ! Really wondering if there are tickets set aside for people outside of Japan and whether we have to access the ticket site as fast as possible on Sep 9.
