  • WinForPooh changed the title to [2021] World Team Trophy (15-18.04) - Fluff, the In-betweens, and GALA

Wow ok are we ready for this event....

I'm just.. gonna pray that this will go well and there will not be any spread of infection.. and that all involved will be able to finish this safely.

It irked me that the foreign teams are not required quarantine period that just sounds wrong in many ways to me..

Same here, I hope it goes well and everyone stays safe. The bubble in Stockholm seemed relatively efficient (I know there were 2 or 3 isolated cases, but they probably caught the virus before the event, the fact that it didn't spread during the competition is a good sign); hopefully it will be even better and there won't be any cases at WTT. I agree that foreign teams should have to quarantine though...

I just noticed that I won't be able to watch the whole mens' free skate live, the time difference is so inconvenient! :( The second half, which will probably be Yuzuru's group, is right during my family's lunchtime and my strict non-Fanyu parents for sure won't let me get out of the table to watch. I'm hesitating between peaking at the live results page on my phone to still get some kind of real-time experience (and send all my positive energy during Yuzu's FS!), or entirely staying off the internet to keep the suspense until I get to watch the actual video. What would you Satellites do?

Can’t say I blame him.  I shall watch if I’m awake which I often am.  I don’t think the competition is a good idea but I’m not going to miss the opportunity of seeing some of my favourites skate ( Kaori and Roman for example) quite apart from Yuzuru.  I wonder what the kittens will make of me appearing in the small hours to watch tv - in an ordinary season they’d be used to it by now.

They put the men's competition on Thursday and Friday. I should still be in office during men's competition.

Just want to ask JSF, ISU and TV Asahi, why :( Or are you trying to save me from working overtime?

Haha! Happy Happy dance. It's gonna be real and live during the time the sun is up in my country!

Normal TV viewing hours! YAY! I can participate in it real time!

So excited.

And, Alpha_orionis - I'd wait and watch it when you have time to enjoy it - and avoid spoilers :)

The timing of Matteo's WD considering he was posting about going to WTT until very recently - about the he'd do a PCR test, and just within 14 days of traveling back from Worlds. No reason given. Hmm.

He'd announced he was getting vaccinated before Worlds.
