When  will the practice schedule with music rotations come out?

I'd be surprised if it was sooner than the 14th. I'll keep checking and update the info post when it does.

Does anyone know if and when Japanese TV will be showing Worlds? I am trying to program my recorder to record the events before I leave for Montreal, but can't seem to find it in the Japanese TV listings. J-Sports may have it? As of now I'm still planning to go, but things are very up in the air now :gaah:   Would be grateful  for any info from the Satellites in Japan and elsewhere. :thanks:

Honestly, even with the precautions for people other than the audience (there seem to be none for audience), it's still putting skaters, teams and officials at so much risk. Even if they check everybody's temperatures and stuff at the venue, it still means that they've had to risk exposure multiple times by traveling there. I mean so far I don't see anything that gives me any confidence that they actually have a plan in place if somebody does have a temperature. They might be isolated then but what about how many people came in contact with them? What if they were in contact with a competitor? Do you say 'no, you cannot compete because you sat next to person A with 101 degree fever for the SP draw'?

Let say they really cancel World next week...any chances of it to be postpone to later date. How about next year entries for World then?

I have doubts  if it should be postponed. It's pretty imposible rn to set any safe date in upcoming weeks. And skaters need to build their form right on time, training process is planned for weeks, so what should they do while waiting for rescheduling and for how long? Moreover - they should rest properly after long, tough season. Phisically and mentally. Also, they have other activites planned for off season, like shows (although those are uncertain as well), school catch-up, advertisment duties, many other projects.  If it would be postoponed- it should be held not earlier than in Autumn but still it;s not possible to make any clear assumption when exactly and it would be a bit strange to start a new season with WC and then go straitghly to GP. Imo, world will not collapse if we won't have FS champions of 2020, considering circumstances. They'll figure our spots somehow or leave it as set for this championship.

I'm pretty sure it only gets worse in upcoming weeks. More infected cases, more deaths. Europe is close to its peak (I hope so), while NA is just at the beginning of the bell curve.

Yeah, postponing doesn't have much sense, it's only gonna get worse - by the time it will (hopefully) start getting better, it will be long after the possible time frame. At this point Olympics and even some next season competitions are uncertain...

Seriously, they should cancel - I will be sad, both for not seeing skaters compete at competition they were aiming for all season, especially not seeing Yuzu, and also sad for skaters who were preparing for it, a lot probably will be devastated if it happens, but health is the most important. And really, with so many people there's just no way to avoid risks even with most special measures...

If it could happen without spectators, maybe - but that is VERY unlikely since they would have to refund the tickets and still pay for the venue - not happening...

Either way, they should give definite answer, the stress of not knowing is not good for athletes and fans...
