  1. Today I'm going skating to let some steam off. I really need it. Yokohama ice skating centre was the closest option c: Channeling my inner fire for Yuzu.
  2. Guys my battery is dying but I just wanted to say that I was in the first row and his skin is clear and he is tiny and from uo close he is really tiny sorry my brain is not working I think he kinda saw my face since I was smiling and waving like a 2 year old child in any case I think he said his ankle is perfectly fine???? ok bye
  3. Okay I decided... if Yuzuru isn't back in Japan by 5 pm, I'm gonna attempt to go at Haneda for the flight that arrives at 6.30 pm... so that today at least I have some time to stroll around Ginza and Tokyo center. I am too stressed ahhahahah Update: I am going to Haneda, if anyone wants to wait the ninja with me and have a coffee I am free hahahahhaha
  4. Tomorrow morning I guess I will have to wake up at 8 and have breakfast at 7 eleven stealing their wifi because hell I will not breathe until I know Yuzu is in Japan hshdhabnfkfkshdhfjfj
  5. Pyeonchang practice 2.0. Stroking, only singles, then 4A SBAM OUT OF NOWHERE and then out.
  6. So yesterday evening I saw that very short fujitv snippet regarding Hope and Legacy and Origin.. it was sooo short but I have never seen Yuzuru 'on tv' so the quality of the frame was great and it was exciting. Also up close viewing of the Origin costume. Was there a streaming party for it last night and I missed it, or did any one of you see it?
  7. Woaaaaaah just one more week!!! あと一週間だけ!! (after two weeks I am getting used to Japan after all)
  8. Oh noes I was hungry for new content..
  9. Wow Yuzuru participating to the next Olympics is not even sure yet but people are damn sure that if he'll participate, he'll win it allright. Amazing.
  10. What do they say, though? Quality instead of quantity, right? c: I'd rather him have clean skates and achieve his dreams (4A), but he can do both if he wants to (new programs and new elements).
  11. I'm useless, I'm only studying Japanese LOL
  12. I'm not knowledgeble about Star Trek but I am pretty sure Yuzuru would be a kickass Jedi who knows damn well how to use The Force. By the way, do we know where will that piano scores book be found on the 10th? I am in Japan so I might try to buy it...
  13. I worked on Ballade (only the cut parts) for a year and I still couldn't do the hardest parts! Now I've switched studying piece and I forgot most of it, sad story
  14. I feel you though. This is me while practicing ice skating: "EVERYTHING HURTS I WANNA GO HOME!!"
  15. Remember though that it was Parisienne Walkways that broke record after record in the SP - which isn't cool because of the WR per se, but the meaning is that Yuzuru had already started perfecting his program through the perfect combination of technique and expression, perfect jumps and excellent Skating Skills. It was even since 2012 that his Skating Skills were compared to big names like Takahashi by experts of the sport. Because he has always been talented, skating wise. His edges, knee bend, speed, ability, transitions, everything grew quite organically if you ask me, and every season was better than the one before - but when Yuzuru beat Patrick at Sochi he was already on-pair with him on a lot of things. Again, the special thing about Yuzuru's SP has been the attention to each and every movement. If you go watch PW at Sochi you will see that there is complete control. Free Skating is another deal because of stamina. Yuzuru took a bit more time to learn how to control his lines and body movements even when he got more tired at the end of the program. I'm not arguing that there was no jump in quality in the 2014-15 season... but I think in every season there was a jump in quality, and especially in the 2013-14 season, I suggest you to see all the competitions Yuzu was in, and all the different PCS he got. Sometimes he got less than 80. But we're not talking about a normal rising young star, who's doing great technical feats but is still maturing on all the other aspects. We are talking about an athlete that was more complete than all the others, already at 18 years old. He was complete because he was one of the best in jumps, one of the best in spins, one of the best in skating skills and one of the best in interpretation. Find all of the top men these years, and you will find their weaknesses. Yuzuru virtually had none, and that made him a very dangerous competitor, and a miracle in figure skating. The point is, up until the last two seasons, and especially before the 2015-2016 season, he's been lowballed on PCS, I firmly believe this. Yes, if everyone had been judged strictly, then maybe his scores would have matched, but they didn't. Because everyone WASN'T treated that way. Maybe I am conditioned because I've been listening to Italian esp protesting about this since 2012. But there is a reason why they were protesting even when Yuzuru was 17, he was just a youngster and up against the big guns. He always had that completeness that made him stand out, and it was a gift that was hardly recognized in his scores, until he imposed himself completely and forced them to see him. In the end, scores are scores... and maybe they are not that important. But behind the scores, there is a behavior that is still present now in the judging system, and this behavior is: blindness. Judging badly according to nationality and reputation. Yuzuru had 0 reputation because he was a youngster, and that's why he got certain scores, in my opinion.
  16. Mine was aiming low and applying only once to the balcony seats that no one cared about
  17. Thank you so much for sharing this program with us!! Actually my weakness is that whole season... the Olympic season... I love R&J2 because it really shows an emotional Yuzu as much as the first Romeo and Juliet program, here you can see how many details into the coreography he loses himself into, and how much he's into it... (I've seen it with Max and Angelo's comment and they both agree that he should have gotten more than 81 PCS here. He was 18 here and he would become an Olympic champion. Still, there was nothing given to him for free - on the contrary, he was often penalized on the PCS side, and the score gap between him and Patrick was +10 points, although the real gap between their SS and Transitions, mmh... not so much, I would say.)
  18. Yuzuru wants to win, and follows every competition (so he has seen the absurd US Nationals scores, but apart from the scores, he has seen Nathan in top form). He will plan his layout accordingly. We can just have faith in his mind and hope that everything will go according to plan
  19. My guess is... waiting for Ms. Loop to come around... and do the layouts initially planned at ACI (I mean only the jumps layout).
  20. The problem is that I feel so insecure when I step on the leg crossing in the back, lol! But my last lesson I did give them a go and I could do them... as a beginner. I did my last lesson for the month and next week I'm leaving for Japan - most teammates have suggested me to bring my skates because Japan is full of ice rinks. Also I'm going to spend a weekend in Sendai, and most likely will be skating there
  21. I don't think him going and not going is any indication of who's gonna win the Award. How many time has he won awards without being phisically present?
  22. I got the forward crossrolls but... backwards crossrolls are impossible for me at the moment! I don't get how to cross my feet without tumbling down :c
