Now they gave credit, but boy, using the full x pages long transcript 1:1 and not even asking. That's very unprofessional, especially for a website linked to an official organization like the International Olympic Committee.

Not to mention that OC is a for-profit organization that generates revenues from the trafic on their website. Using someone else's translation without permission is, at best, unethical.

It's worth saying also that several of those translators have clearly expressed in the past that they did not want their work used in the press because they were not professional and could not take the responsibility of having made a mistake that might misrepresent the original meaning.

Japanese judges are a lost cause in that regard, of course. But more Asian representation would be fair in the bigger picture, especially with the absurd "wEsErners cAn'T UndersAnd AsiAn muSic" charade. The way judges are selected is a huge issue in general.

We're basically at the start of the Olympic season. Of course media will play the narrative game and prop up US and Russian skaters to the moon. Nothing new there. Look how they talked about him back in 2017. Steel yourself for incredibly biased reporting or ignore it all together. There will be a lot of bad takes from experts and previous skaters.

I think keeping TenChi is very likely given his recent statements.

He can change his mind later of course, but it sounds like Yuzu wants to incorporate the 4A to complete this program anyway.
