Glad to see more Yuzu content before worlds...and interesting comparisons. :gla:

And Ambesi interpreted as next season too, although he’s a super fan so he may be viewing it optimistically too.

Was the documentary filmed during his rehab???

I think he looks so depressed in this film....I couldn't imagine how frustrated he was in that time and leave alone he has to speak of that situation...

    Brian-I couldn’t agree with you more.:img_21:

I remember once Yuzu had a conversation with Kenji in interview, in which he said he barely has time to relax and has been busy all the time. Back then he was only 21 yr old. And Kenji told him, "don't limit your life to skating only, you need to learn how to open your mind and enjoy life. That would eventually be helpful to your skating " kinda words.

Now, though pressure is still there, I think he is able to live a life that he focuses on skating while slowing down and having more time to sense the world around him.

I wish him a colorful life.

Do you think he doesn't know about this? He probably can go even further: 13 elements he needs to do in FP, 14 earphones he brings in every comp, 15 - age when he become world junior champion, 16 WRs, 17 - moving to Canada...

when counting to 100, I guess that would be the number of his Pooh-San.

A New York Times article says that according to a recent poll, 40 percent of adults in the USA and Britain admit to sleeping with a plushie.  :gla::POOH:

Yuzu: I am the lord of Pooh San Plushie

  5. Undecided Christmas rewatch schedule:

CONtinue and some funny FAOI performances for the Eve

Still FAOI and the random selections from his EX programs for 25th and 26th

Regular rewatch of his compe programs but H&L is the routine loop till he comes back!

I am so bad at making this. Any suggestion please?

Kazuki has been working so hard I'm glad he gets a chance for further recognition!

3 months has never sounded longer :13877886::13877886: No news is good news right?

No it's actually almost 4 months....

Oh, he's perfectly eligible, he's just not going to. It could be he was offered it and he refused. It didn't really make that much sense to do it, IMO (traveling to California, time and temperature changes, potential for re-injury and as Olys last year proved, keeping everyone guessing about his condition is the better strategy). Though it does suck for fans in the US hoping to see him there. Btw, OT, but it seems Daisuke was offered a Worlds spot and he declined. Yuzu could have done the same for 4CC. It's not his priority.

Thanks a lot! That makes sense.

I just thought he is gonna to break the 4CC silver curse 😂

I guess he is, but they choose to sent Kazuki. Yuzu doesn't go to 4CC usually anyway ...and Kazuki deserves a chance as well.

Yes, I agree...Kazuki did really well in JNats and I am glad he can go 4CC....

But I really want to see he and Yuzu together!

  9. I hope Yuzu's H&L 2017 WC would be analyzed by whatever Fuji or Asahi...especially that giant monster 3A combo and all his quadruple jumps....

I saw a tweet gif catches one of his normal 3A practices...man, I swear that jump flys over half of the rink lol.

My face every time when I saw his long-distance "flying" jump

Whoever filmed that only focussed on Javi so you can't see the two of them working together. :snkuyashii:

Watching that clip my head just automatically tried different angles to catch Yuzu...and found it's impossible cuz the camera just didn't include him....

  11. I think we had a conversation on the technique of measuring figure skater's jumps in Japan. I just watched JNats found they apply this technique in the slow motion part after each performance. The statistics of the jump's height, distance and the landing speed are displayed.

I deadly want to see Yuzu's jumps are measured in such way which looks super cool! But who knows whether ISU would ever apply this technology 🙄
