Happy birthday Yuzu!

At this point, you’ve won and done everything to be my GOAT.  It doesn’t matter if you win against biased judging.  It doesn’t matter if you have perfect programs, although I know you want it.  Be happy.  Be healthy. Know the hope and joy you’ve brought to your fans throughout the years.  Everything else is really just EXTRA.  

I will enjoy your skating as long as you want to gift us with your talent. I will support you always.

IMO, I don’t think Yuzu would want anything that separates him from the other competitors besides an incredible cheer for an incredible performance.  He’s never been an attention grabber during the competition and always courteous to other skaters. Even if he went last and *Bite my tongue* didn’t do well, he would still want the attention to be on the winner.

When they sang happy birthday even during practice last time, he was bashful.  But I loved that, and I think either end of practice or at victory ceremony is the right place and time to let him know that his fans love him.
 

Sorry if this was already posted.  So much going on.  He is so articulate, wise, and honest.  I kind of felt bad for the other skaters for not getting questions, but I blame that on JSF.  They should have expected this and just given him his own press con or moderated better to have everyone get at least one question.

Dear PH,

I want to put in a pre-NHK request. Please take pity on us GEO-blocked Fanyus who want to listen to and watch all the commentaries of Yuzu’s performance.  Videos are being taken down so quickly, could you please save the vids to the site? It worked well for SC.  I feel the blocking effort will be even worse for NHK.

I want to thank Planet Hanyu and satellites for providing all the SC videos and up loading them.  I am spending TOO MUCH time watching them, but being inspired and realizing why I’m a fan in the first place. 

I really love and appreciate this community.  I lurk more than post for sure, but the posts here reaffirm how special Yuzu is. HYK and the tears...he touches so many

Did I not hear correctly?  I thought Yuzu said he doesn’t have a skin care routine but does use the product sometimes after practice?  Honestly, I may have been half asleep when I think I heard that. 

I think Yuzu should drop the 4F, at least for this season.  His 4Lutz probably still needs work for consistency and with 4A in works-  He doesn’t need another quad.

 I think he should stop the 4T-3A from a point perspective.  He has a solid 3A and with both in combination or with 1eu and 4 quads, he has a better chance of going clean. If and when he masters the 4A he definitely won’t need the 4F... as I’m typing why do I doubt he’ll drop the 4T-3A...

who am I kidding, he’ll do whatever he wants to do

Well said.  The control he has over his skating compared to R&J 1.0 is pretty amazing.

I was a bit in awe of Yuzu’s stamina too in masquerade.  I know he didn’t have many jumps, but he was full force for the entire almost 4 minutes.  I also think he’s been working out his upper body because his shoulders look broader.  I know his ankle is on and off injured, but he is only 24 years old, athletically he has so much potential with what he could make his body do...only if his ankle will let him. 🤞
