What a news, wow I think it is possible for him to get NHK spot and maybe another GP (France? Or what about Finland, would be interesting ). I hope he has good comeback, but it's hard to tell what can he bring technically... there were many great skaters that tried to come back and couldn't keep up... But if Dai has a somewhat succesful comeback at 32, maybe I can have hope for other things too

Wow, it's good to see a really good attempt at 4A by Keegan. Obviously he had a lot of assistance and he probably couldn't control the jump without it (at least it looked like that to me), but I never seen such a good attempt before. I saw article some time ago about him trying for it and was wondering how soon we will see something like that. Seriously, I want him to succeed, this is so exciting I really don't care who does it first, I just hope Yuzu will do it when it's safe for him, and not before, just because someone else is trying. And honestly, I really like Keegan Messing and his 3A, this will be cool if he lands the quad!

There's also Mako Yamashita who will probably turn senior too and it seems Japan has high hopes for the girl... Not sure what will happen with Yuna Shiraiwa. I'm not sure how spots work in GP (except general rules), but last season 7 japanese girls had 2 assigments, and 2016/17 season - 8.

Because he is Yuzuru Hanyu and is the gift to figure skating But really it has a lot to do with skating skills and good technique. His crossovers definitely weren't good in his early years. But of course he perfected them

It depends on Yuzu's health, but if he can recover 4Lz safely, I really hope he brings it back to competition We've seen how beautiful that jump can be... But it's hard to speculate because of rehab etc but I don't think it's likely for Yuzu to give up on a jump, if he only can do it. Why no 4Lz? Higher BV, and more or less the same quality as his 4F, so...

I also remember Denis Ten (but everything in me used to hurt when he tried it). And of course a bunch of half-Biellmann, including Jason Brown, which I actually like. WC in Europe

I'm also rooting for France for selfish reasons, there's about 80% chance I'll be there Realistically it's the only one big competition I'll be able to go this season and I'd love to see him live... after 7 years, huh On rare ocasions when Yuzu was in Europe I usually couldn't go, so I have some hope now But I also think Canada is more possible, well. I hope I will at least see some of my faves. Also, I don't really care if Yuzuru have to face Nathan or Shoma at his GP assigments, it will have to happen anyway at some point, maybe better sooner than later.

I'm surprisingly okay with most of the changes and can't wait to see the new rules in practice 2018/2019 season will be a bit of a trial I guess... My brain hurts a bit when I think about possible layouts, so I will just wait and see what they'll come with. The rule about no steps before solo jumps annoys me a bit, but it's not like it was always enforced anyway... I guess there won't be many skaters who will bother with difficult connecting steps, but oh well. There still will be a few that care enough to do the extra. Everyone knows who I'm talking about... As for 3Lo combos, I doubt we will see many more of them, sadly. I love 3Lo combos, these are some of the prettiest jumps when done good, but they are still rarity even in ladies field, who generally have better sense of balance, and less jumps to master than man (since they rarely try 3A or quads). Those combos are just too risky in more than one way...

I know she talks a lot, but I don't think she's very irrational person. That wouldn't even benefit her, there is no world where Elizabet beats Zhenya or comes close... Okay, maybe she could improve, got bigger scores, even jump her 4S in competition (Eteri would definitely push her to do that), but in the end how much could she do with her, especially being so busy with up and coming stars? I believe of course that she will do everything for Alina to beat Zhenya now, and this will be very intense I fear for the girl honestly...

If she's coming to Tutberidze, it's not becuase she wanted to steal her from Brian or take her because she trained with him, come on. She is definitely too demonized, well I don't really know her personally so I'll refrain from commenting, but she's a pro elite couch. She wouldn't take a student for revange or something. Just no. I'm not surprised she wants to take a break after great for her olympic season, but it's making me a bit sad, Kaetlyn is actually among my favourites... Hope she will be back for championships season.
