I rewatched RE_PRAY many times (and just finished another time before the VOD is gone!), and the more times I watched it, the more I like all

his new programs!  They are al

so cool and dramatic.  Megalovania is an all-spin program, that is so innovative!   

Yuzu’s skating is so good, even way better than when he was in his competitive career and breaking records left and right, how is this even possible?!  His movements are so sharp and yet so smooth.  Attention to every single small music note.  The amount of work and practice he must have put in, it’s unbelievable.

Choice I need to make: Blue hoodie or Black hoodie? 

The blue is so cute and nice pop of colour. 

The black is so cool and I like the logo being slightly lower in the back compared to the blue hoodie, and the black font on black background looks great at the back too.

But I already have a black Prologue hoodie 😂.  I am trying to convince myself that this is a baggier fit and so it’s different 😂

I’m also afraid of getting the wrong size… I think M should fit me (5’6” and 125 lbs). Wonder what’s the size on the mannequin photos…The black one on Yuzu in the photo looks baggy but maybe he had the L one on?  But when he had the blue one on it didn’t look so baggy so maybe he had the M size blue one on?

Happy Burthday Planet Hanyu! I visit here every day to read about Yuzuru.  Thank you for maintaining this site!

1. When did you become a fan of Yuzu? 
   2018 Olympics Chopin.  I watched it and I was mesmerized.  I was a casual FS watcher before that (so I knew about Patrick Chan, Plushenko, Yuma Kim, Mao Asada, etc. and there was a time when I got mesmerized with Jeff Bottle’s skating as well.  But Yuzu is on a different level!  I have followed Yuzu’s every competition ever since)
2. When and why did you sign up for Planet Hanyu? 
   Just after 2018 Olympics when I wanted to know more about Yuzu and I watched all his YouTube’s and read all his interviews and I found Planet Hanyu in the process.
3. Did you make any irl friends through Planet Hanyu? 
   Yes!  I met other Yuzu fans during Skate Canada 2019 and a few of us came from the same place.  So we have gone out together a few times afterwards! (We went to Canadian Nationals together and also watched 4CC 2020 together in a “sleep-over party”!  It was fun!
4. Have you participated in any group projects on Planet Hanyu? 
   Yes, there was a group project to make a banner for Yuzu, with all the countries of Yuzu fans written in a red circle looking like the Japanese flag and with Yuzu’s Otonal pose.
5. Did you attend any meetups with other satellites at competitions? 
   Yes!  I have gone to ACI 2018, ACI 2019 and Skate Canada 2019.  I was too shy to meet anyone at ACI, but at Skate Canada a bunch of us met up and had dinners together!
6. What do you like the most about this forum? 
   That everyone is friendly and I like sharing our love for Yuzu.
7. Would you like to participate in the giveaway? 
   I would love to, as it is difficult to get Yuzu merch that are only available in Japan!  Thanks a lot!

Well he took time off uni to focus on training for Oly, so I will give him credit for his dedication.  Wonder if he will continue skating….

seems like Nathan is rarely affected by the ice condition, wonder if it’s because his jumps are small

Boyang’s SS really improved so much.  His score so much lower than Daniel so, scoring is a joke

Ugh I don’t wanna watch Shawn White!  Give me Yuzu!

To me it looks like he’s doing jumps and see how much pain his right landing foot can bear. 

Is there live stream for Yuzu’s practice?

Wow figure skating being the circus of the Olympics once again - what ISU deserves!

If he is not ok I really hope he withdraws.  If not in perfect condition, there is no chance of landing 4A here so the purpose is not there any more, and he risks further injury. 
 

I don’t know what to think any more 😔. Even if he withdraws tomorrow I don’t know if I should feel relieved or not - withdrawing may mean it’s not a small injury, or it may mean it’s not too bad and he is being sensible.  If he doesn’t withdraw, I don’t know what to feel either, whether I should be relieved that it means it’s not serious….

Hope is just a small twist or something that just gives pain for   a brief time and then everything goes back to normal quickly

I agree that even not counting the mistake with 4S, the JNat version was better - this one seemed a bit less sharp and lower energy.  So I think his PCS is not that outrageously low.

But, I think if Yuzu still wants to be competitive against Nathan, he needs to up his tech in the SP. Let’s say if he had got 14 points for 4S and 49 for PCS, that’s 16 points higher tha 95 which is still below Nathan’s score.  4A in SP next season!! 

But anyhoo, Yuzu’s focus doesn’t seem to be on winning gold medals any more (good for him). And who knows, Nathan may retire after this and focus on med school.  

Well maybe Yuzu will be happy that he can pass the torch to Yuma now, so he can be free of carrying Team Japan on his shoulders and finally free to go WILDING!!  Watch him put 4A in both SP and FS next season 

Also, starting next season, sequence combo jumps will get full score without the 0.8 multiplier (or whatever it is), correct?  He can go WILDING with 3A sequence again.

But I hope get gets 4A here and then say f*** ISU I’m out of here

I think Yuzu’s chance of a medal is really slim.  I want him to go for 4A and have no regret.  

I think Yuzu’s 3A was also kinda off, the height was much lower than his usual.

I wonder what caused that 4S error and if it’s really a groove in the ice (such bad luck)

Well he can definitely go wild on the FS now!

The rest of his skate was kinda low energy too compared to JNats
