  1. But Yuzu will still look the same coz he just doesn’t age!
  2. Where’s our Kose beauty blogger?!
  3. Seeing these 4CC magazine covers is making me feel so thankful that 4CC could be held before all this mess got way worse, so that Yuzu could get his super slam and end his season on a positive note and finding the sense of “skating for himself”, rather than the disappointment of Japanese nationals!
  4. I would HAVE TO vote for Seimei, that’s probably the most iconic Yuzuru Hanyu program. Can we have a vote for third place? So that bb Romeo can at least have a bronze medal?
  5. I agree that 4CC Chopin is probably the most perfect version ever, however Olympics Chopin has such a sentimental component to it. Same as @river, Oly Chopin was what made me became a Yuzu fan. Therefore, I would HAVE TO choose it. Sorry 4CC Chopin - I still love you very much!
  6. How about this one? I also like the Origin 1.0 Ina Bauer! Also, what about Origin ending pose? Origin opening pose? (Sorry I can’t find a nice photo of these at the moment!)
  7. I will pick up at ACI or SCI! See you there!! thanks so much! everybody please stay healthy
  8. Maybe he will be Kose beauty blogger again? (I hope). Not sure if we will even have media day with the virus situation.
  9. Just thinking back, 4CC was such a great event that some of us joked at that time that “Okay, let’s just cancel Worlds!”, (thinking about the biased pro-US and pro-Rus Fed judging, awards sh*t show), never thought in a million years that it may actually become true! 🤪
  10. Do you know the dates? I may just start to book time off work for it 😊
  11. I would also check Disney Store to see if they still have Yuzu Pooh merch!
  12. Imagine if it’s a mistake by incompetent ISU, Yuzu is probably laughing his butt off right now while lurking around and reading people’s (freaking out) reactions I am sure he is aware of what’s happening right now. Personally though, I really wouldn’t mind if he change to Chopin and Seimei for 4CC. How many points deduction would he get if he keeps Seimei as 4:30? If not much then given that Nathan and Shoma are not going to 4CC, he can afford it. It can let him show the true mastery of combining technique and artistry, create so much chaos in FS world, basically saying Fxxx the ISU, I don’t care and I am 2 times OGM I can do whatever I want. It would be interesting to see how the judges score it, if he skates it clean, to see if they dare give him low PCS for something that scored almost perfect in the old system. I am reading that quite a lot of Chinese fans are deciding not to go due to the virus, hope the seats won’t be too empty.
  13. Going back to talk about retixxxxxx, when will Yuma and Shun become senior? Do you think Yuzu may think that by taking up a senior spot he would be preventing them to go to important combos? Just a thought.
  14. This is amazing How can he be so lovable
  15. Ahhhh the clear files are so nice!! Does anyone know when they will be available? I will be in Tokyo from January 1 to 6!!
  16. Are there JNats threads yet? Or is it too early? Also can some kind soul give me some instructions as to how I can watch from Canada?
  17. I think if Yuzu is healthy then he may want to go, as people already said, to test out 5 quad layout (since he needs it to win against Nathan at Worlds) and just to get more “practice” for competition. He has been saying skating clean in practices at home is one thing, but skating clean in competition is completely different. I don’t think Nathan will go (since he didn’t go last year as well) and so it will be a great chance for Yuzu to finally win 4CC! also if 4A is ready by then, he can have another chance to land it in competition. I think he probably has already landed it in practices at home, although low percentage, otherwise he wouldn’t have done it at GPF practice.
  18. Late to the swimming discussions, but the image of Yuzuru in swimming trunks or an all-black wet body suit rising from the water is now stuck in my head
  19. Oh, then it will be easy for Ghislain to meet Brian and Yuzu in Japan afterwards? I feel like because Ghislain cares about Yuzu so much he would want to be with Yuzu. I still have so much to catch up on videos, GPF threads (50 pages of gala thread), Twitter (been just bookmarking tweets since it moves so fast). I guess I have a week to do so! By the way, any guess for Yuzu’s Ex at JNats? I vote for Masquerade with Toshl live performance I also need help with how to watch JNats from Canada, can anyone tell me? Need VPN and stuff?
  20. The Frankfurt to Toronto flight landed around 3 hours ago! Yuzu should be home by now. It makes me happy to know that he can have a good night’s rest. Maybe he will go to meet Brian, Tracy and Ghislain tomorrow at TCC and they can all discuss and help Yuzu make sense of what has happened in this competition and help him decide on the path he should take going forward. Papa bear Ghislain must be so exhausted as well, I hope he can have a good rest as well! I wonder who will go to JNats with Yuzuru. Just checked that Russian Nationals will be from Dec 24 to 29, so maybe Brian can go to Japan with Yuzu and then go directly to Russia since it’s not that far?
  21. Exactly! This is what I was trying to get across. After practice or gala or victory ceremony is fine, just not during competition because it may distract other skaters. We have all seen Yuzu pointing to the next skater who has already stepped on the ice and gesturing to fans to stop cheering for himself. This has nothing to do with culture, not allowing fans to show love for Yuzu (or fans “policing” other fans) or thinking that Yuzu can’t handle 10 seconds of birthday song. It’s purely to be considerate to the next skater who may be trying to concentrate before starting his FS.
  22. Agree 100 percent with this. I won’t be there in person, but I hope people at least don’t sing the song when the next skater is already on the ice. If Yuzu is the last skater then perhaps it’s okay, but then it would still depend on whether Yuzu has had a good skate or not. Since this “argument” amongst fans are all over Twitter now, I think Yuzu may already be aware about all of this and it may be upsetting him already....I certainly hope that’s not the case but we all know that he lurks. Maybe someone can DM a TCC member (Tracy? Brian? I think they have Instagram account?) and see if they can give us some insight into what Yuzu wants? At least if we get an answer, then we can ensure that we won’t unintentionally make Yuzu upset or embarrassed or whatever. I am not sure if asking them is feasible or appropriate, but just throwing this idea out there and see if people think it’s good idea or not. We all just want what’s best for Yuzu.
  23. I think it’s not good to sing Happy Birthday even if you start right after throwing Poohs because the next skater will already be on the ice, skating around. I remember Nam saying that he had to skate around the Poohs at SCI when the flower girls were still collecting. So even though the performance of the next skater hasn’t started, it may still affect the next skater. Probably better to do it after the trophy ceremony? If Yuzu wins gold (please!!) then he will be so giddy and extra happy, and if he loses then it may help cheer him up a bit (it will also show him that we love him no matter whether he wins or loses and that we are never disappointed in him )
  24. I don’t think he doesn’t believe in himself. He has done different types of music in the past, however it’s true that certain types of music suit him better (like, classical, ethereal). I don’t want to see him skate to something like Nathan’s Rocketman program! (that choreo sequence.....). As Tracy Wilson said during her commentary for Skate Canada, Yuzu is someone who believes in himself and this is actually what makes him a champion. I think there are several factors for him to recycle both programs this year. The biggest factor is that he is focusing on upping his tech/quad jumps this year in order to compete Nathan. Judging by how the judges are scoring nowadays (eye roll), he is absolutely correct that he cannot rely on his higher GOEs and PCS, the gaps of both of these things between him and Nathan are actually (wrongfully) diminishing. Another factor is that he feels that both programs are unfinished business - he didn’t get to skate to them that much last season and he wants to perfect both programs to their fullest. Even for Otonal, many of us thinks that it was already perfect at Rostelecom last year, however I think Yuzu said in an interview that it was only around 30%! Case in point, he brought back the twizzle sandwich 3A this year and got the first ever perfect GOE in any jumps since the new scoring system. Even for Origin 2.0 at Skate Canada, to him it’s only at 20-30%! (seriously, I can’t with this kid....) He has probably weighed all the risk and benefits of recycling, and judging by his track record, he has always been right in all his calculations. So I will just trust in him to know what’s best for himself!
