  1. I don't know where else to put this, but I came across it and had to share!
  2. It just occurred to me...Vadim = Piglet???
  3. Very sadden by this news. My deepest condolences to Denis' family and friends.
  4. my all time favourite summer beer is Mill Street Organic...I never heard of Lake of Bays! Will check them out. From this article: "Bottles of the Moonlight Kettle beers are available exclusively via Muskoka Brewery, either in the brewery retail store, or delivered to subscribers of the Moonlight Kettle Beer Club. Limited kegs of each beer are also released and featured on tap at select craft beer bars in Ontario." Also, it's a light pale ale.
  5. Me too! I’m glad I’m visiting home (Toronto) tomorrow. I’ll find some of this for the Muskoka family cottage trip. Very apt! I’m guessing it’s a light citrusy lager with lots of carbonation! I think Mill Street is the better brewery.
  6. Thanks! My mind is in knots right now (writing a final report at work) so I somehow missed that these images ARE from ISU.
  7. I am still in the process of unscrambling my thoughts to write what I think about the men's assignments. Is it just me, or the isu website is taking A LONG time to load. I want to see the assignments for IdF, cause from the FS site, it seems like its a slated to be an USA and CAN throwdown. Editted: NM. I somehow missed that the image I saw earlier from actually from ISU...
  8. Pretty! Although my OCD self couldn't help by watch the the raw edges on the chiffon fabric during the program.... Hm, I'm starting to think the different "frills" on the FOI costumes are to test out ideas for his programs later.
  9. Is this representative to what he eats on a regular basis (during training?). If so, I'm SO glad I don't have to prepare meals for him, that's a lot of effort for breakfast AND lunch (FYI: I have avocado and black beans on toast with a glass of milk for breakfast - I think it's quite good, from both a time and nutrition stand point). What if the non-Japanese food in question has tomatoes on/in it?
  10. So I'm from Toronto (I moved away 3 years ago), so I'm happy to answer any questions about the city for this project! Anyways, it's not clear to me who the gift certificates, etc are for? Is it to give the staff in TCC an opportunity to hang out outside skating, or? I don't recommend the Science Center, the exhibits are quite outdated. The Toronto Zoo was fun when the pandas were there (they left earlier this year, I think). Also, yes, there are MANY Starbucks in Toronto. I think it would be really neat if the gift is a box full of chocolates/candies/sweets that's from the home countries of the forum members (kind of like the boxes of mixed chocolates that are on sale at most airport duty free shops)! This will take some coordination - but it seems like there's a handful of satellites going to upcoming events, so these can serve as opportunities to consolidate these items!
  11. So in preparation for my job interview tomorrow (I mean, hm, technically today), I've been trying to remove lint from my black dress socks using a lint roller. And then it occurred to me, how does Yuzuru (perhaps more likely his okaasan) get ALL this black training gear this..lint free? Don't tell me its those detergent pods...!
  12. My mind went beyond PG-13 when I read that...
  13. Yep, that’s junk ppl are throwing around like confetti. ::sarcasm:: “Wait, a lady is moving countries for her career? What a ludicrous idea!” ::end sarcasm:: but honestly, this is not to add fuel to the fire, but whatever reason Janny has for the move, I’m going to respect her choice and hope the best for her!
