  1. I'm not sure why, but the above reminded me of what Carol Lane once said (IIRC it was in Pyeongchang, pertaining to Yuzuru skating Chopin) - she said that Yuzuru is like a prince in a glass castle that you can watch (you can't take your eyes off him), but you cannot touch. This is paraphrased/non-verbatim. Regarding the behind-the-scenes look at Yuzuru's training - I am amazed at his duality, really. In the gym, wearing training clothes, he looks so fit/trim/hard-muscled. But when he's wearing his costumes/performing/skating, he looks so soft and fluffy. I don't know how to describe it better. But of course, he looks good either way
  2. Thanks, @Perelandra! Even more related information about this topic... This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
  3. Thanks for sharing. Is there a more recent initiative similar to this? The article linked was posted back in 2013...
  4. Thanks for sharing. Part 3 in particular (seeing the ladies again) made me love him even more. He never forgets, and is so kind to these survivors. He looked teary-eyed - I wish my Japanese was good enough to understand his words. Precious, precious boy. Bless him, and bless these ladies
  5. OH!バンデス 震災から13年【YouTube同時配信】is live on YouTube right now. Not sure when Yuzu will come up on the show...
  6. Hello, I just clicked on the provided link (see below) and searched for "3.11" on Yahoo JP. I'm just not sure how many times one can do that and still be counted, though. I clicked several times, for good measure Search results for "3.11" - Yahoo! Search
  7. Incredible numbers indeed. And speaking of the rehearsal/OP, I love the addition of the Yuzu-cam on the lower right portion of the screen. Staff-san really knows who most (if not all) of the audience is there for
  8. I was only able to get in 30 minutes after the show started... I just let it spin while I was working on other tabs...
  9. I have watched GIFT so many times. I rewatched again today. It is still as awe-inspiring as the first time I watched. And that moment when Seimei starts? It never fails to give me chills, and I find myself crying (happily) again for all that Yuzuru has accomplished What a joy he is - an all-around amazing human, who, fortunately, was blessed with not just the talent and the looks, but also the brains and the wit, artistry and imagination, perseverance and humility. Oh, and let's not forget something else that I find lacking in some competitive skaters nowadays - charisma What a time to be a fanyu! Here's to the first anniversary of GIFT - hoping for a lot more solo Yuzuru ice shows to come. Cheers!
  10. Wow #羽生結弦 “ #nottestellata ” (2023 performance) Blu-ray & DVD released today!
