I just feel so sad for her. And like preemptively sad for all the other Eteri girls. I'm gonna go back to hating how they're scored at the next comp, but also tinged with pity. What they put them through is not okay.

Oh man, I feel like a very grumpy old lady who doesn’t like ANYTHING watching those three programs. I agree with the critiques of Alina’s and Nathan’s programs — they don’t fit the music. Alina’s interpretation was very one note (pained eyebrows) to me, Nathan’s looked like his two previous SPs. As for Rika’s FS... I like parts of it here and there but that’s part of the problem, how disjointed it is. And the theme makes me cringe. I hope she can pull it off, I think she might need to start working with her face more too? Idk, maybe I’ll love it in the future, there is a lot to work with but right now I’m not a happy camper. Early in the season etc, which goes for all of them I guess.

I really don’t know how to process this.

I’m gonna be basic and suggest Yuzu focused streaming parties — fancams sounds great! The whole season ones we did a couple of years ago were great and it was so cool seeing the programs evolve during the season. I’m worried most of those videos are gone now in the yt purge tho. But yeah, wouldn’t mind doing them again, like from first year of senior or something?

How about Turandot bc of Shizuka and GPF? But that would be using this season’s template for next and I don’t really think Yuzu’s in the same head space. I have no idea what he’ll do and I’ll probably hate it on principle until I see him skating to it and then it’ll be over for me. (I really HATED the Otonal music piece last summer. I love that program and the music SO MUCH now.)
