  1. Would you happen to know where I could watch that documentary? I remember seeing footage of a Seimei fitting but don't remember where.
  2. Oooh, I'd love to know who they are. H&L and Etude are so beautiful. If I ever have any occassion to be outrageous, I'd like to commission those designers.
  3. Not to mention there's always a chance of coming out of r****ment like Plushenko and Midori Ito did. I said the other day that I expect he'll be the Miyazaki of skating and if he were to r**** would find himself unable to stay away, only to then read that, yes, Miyazaki has once again come out of r****ment! It's his 3rd or 4th time now. Geniuses really can't help themselves.
  4. http://olympics.nbcsports.com/2015/08/11/yuzuru-hanyu-figure-skating-winter-olympics-2018-pyeongchang/ Last week, the Japanese star was quoted as saying, “It’s been my plan since I was very young to win a gold medal in Sochi and end competitive skating with another [gold medal] at the next Olympics and join the professional ranks.” Hanyu, who dropped to silver behind Spain’s Javier Fernandez at this year’s World Championships, said in a more recent interview that those comments didn’t mean he would stop competing after the 2018 Olympics. “I was very surprised to learn that [my remarks] were regarded as a kind of r****ment statement,” Hanyu said, according to the Yomiuri Shimbun. “I just mentioned a future plan I envisioned when I was a child. I guess I failed to give a proper explanation. I haven’t decided what I will do after the Pyeongchang Games. “In reality, I’m not sure what I will think until the moment actually arrives. If I’m dissatisfied after the Pyeongchang Games, I’ll continue skating until I become satisfied. It’s not something concrete.” Who can believe he'll ever be satisfied? He recently said he was still a long way off his ideal skate, which is just mind-blowing. He's as spectacular as he is because he's never completely satisfied. He's harder on himself at press conferences after winning gold than the guys who win bronze. Even if he wins a second Olympic gold medal I don't think he'll r**** straight away. And as you said, he's still very young and finally injury-free!
  5. My feelings exactly. I know he'll amaze us.
  6. You forgot the weird deep voice out of nowhere that isn't his. Possessed by the Gum Demon.
  7. I went and watched that CM making to see what that face was about and he's just asking about how to hold the gum packet. Then changes instantly back to a sweet smile. It's so scary and hypnotising.
  8. I sometimes can't watch because I get stuck staring at your profile picture and then it's a week later.
  9. It's so incredible at that distance. Just like a river. Those jumps don't look human without close-up proof of a face attached. I really love this fancam most of all, though, for the level of ole-ing alone:
  10. Or once. I've never studied so hard in my life.
  11. I've already moved on to Requiem which is O_O and twice as long so more sleep-stealing than Chopin. And it's now around 4:30am and there goes my Sunday. And so SparkleSalad went off to her bed, While visions of lettuces danced through her head.
  12. That's what really caught my eye in that video, too. It's so delicate and understated.
  13. I've accidentally stayed up Yuzuing until 4am again. This recklessness calms down after awhile, right? I've been only holiday from being responsible for over a month now and I'm in danger of forgetting how to adult.
  14. That 4S of perfection. I can only laugh. How is my brain supposed to process this man's existance?
  15. Chopin 2016 Worlds is for me all the more incredible knowing now of his injury but it really annoys me that the cameras change angles during the most beautiful flow of his body (competently captured here at the 2015 GPF @1:22). Then again, the GPF cameras only captured the world's most elegant spread eagle with arms crossed over head from behind (what a waste!) so I end up watching both whenever I watch. If I could become God to watch him skate from all angles at once... Or, you know, hurry up with VR for sports before this genius r****s.
  16. Just chiming in from a few pages ago to say how juch I love the Chopin SP, too. It's the most elegant and perfect thing I've ever seen. Watching it in slow motion, as I've done too many times, shows what a deep and intuitive feel for and understanding of music both skater and choreographer have. Every note has a movement. It's just incredible. The spring in his legs on the arabian/camel looks exactly like it feels to hit that note on the piano. Just that one touch was enough for me to fall in love with that program but eveything else is equally brilliant. (I stopped writing this half way through to watch it three times.)
  17. Sorry for the off-topickiness of this post but here he is a few weeks shy of 40 in 2001 doing a backflip straight into a triple toe loop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YpIQK6B9zo Around 3:10
  18. He was still doing backflips at 48. Still a pretty cool mama!
  19. This is the most beautiful jump I've seen and I didn't know what exactly to call it so thank you!
  20. You lucky thing. The only skating we have here is Disney on Ice. And aparently about 3 or 4 who try to compete overseas but I'll believe it when I see it with my own eyes. I'm pretty sure Brendan Kerry is just some front for some shady government operation I have no idea about but which would probably make more sense than the words "Australian figure skater."
  21. I AM you! Just probably an older with less excuses to throw away my sleep version. I have watched nothing else for the past month. If it wasn't a prequel, I fear I'd never know what is going to become of poor Jimmy McGill. I wonder if I'll ever be a functioning human being again. And I think they definitely need to update the scoring system to reflect the dramatic perfection of his falls. R+J1 Nice, example. Also, that horrific crash. How can a human being still be so graceful in shock and pain? I'm starting to believe that nutso UFO theory that angels are just aliens from an advanced civilization.
  22. This made me realise how much intense Yuzurus I have in my life ahh... This is one if the happiest Zuzus I have though, feat. kitty ears. Oh no. Oh noooo. Does anyone have a link to video of this interview?
  23. Wow, is this a mou chotto gesture? (Were there any before it?) Not mou chotto but Rola.
  24. This is interesting for me to find out, too. I wondered why men don't do more spirals (besides bendy, bendy Jason Brown). Rushing to read through a thread of unusual entries on GS now!
